You will be ejected if you drink in the no alcohol sections.

Yes, though there is MUCH less leniency for drunk guests in those sections. Have a beer during the intermissions? You're good. Power down 5 tallboys each intermission? Ehh.... maybe not so much.

If you appear to be drunk, good chance you'll get tossed, provided they notice you're drunk. If you are quiet about it, you're probably ok... but you're not spending hundreds of dollars to come here and be quiet, I imagine.

So yeah...... in part why the SBP is so quite during games (except for the Habs chants of course)

No, the issue isn't the arena, it's those three sections specifically.

Coca Cola sponsors them, and those seats are LITERALLY half the price compared to the seats in the adjacent sections. Coke pays the price difference between what those seats would normally go for, and what they actually cost. They are financially invested, and have a say in the "theme".

Scotiabank Place staff specifically focus on those three sections for alcohol, because sponsors ask them to.

You can get pretty freaking drunk in any of the other sections.

Personally, I like watching a game without some yahoo screaming at the players to "SHOOT THE PUCK" every 2 seconds in my ear, at 120 decibels, and spilling their hotdog mustard on my head.

To each their own, though. Bell Center has it's own charm. It's unique, and cool, to a point. I like visiting, but I'd never want to live there. You probably feel the same about SBP.

It's cool. Variety is the spice of life, and all that...

Well no one would want to live at the Bell Centre, your money wouldn't last you through the end of the week

It's worth it. Trust me. You could get hit by a bus next month.

Now get your ass down to Ottawa and in a seat.

Totally deflating for Sens if 1/3 of fans are cheering Habs. Do it.

I'm in Hong Kong, and flying in for games 3 and 4 will cost me approximately 5 Grand, but I will donate 50 bucks to any Habs fan to help buy tickets in Ottawa. I mean it. Anyone else up for it?

Question, is Lower Level End Glass Row A right next to the glass or there is some Prestige Double-Letter thing like at the Bell Center at the SBP?

Didn't know Canada was the new North Korea.

So, I'm pissed, sitting watching the game quietly with buddies, but some girl scout notices I seem drunk, and ejects me.

Don't think so. Hope that's not true. That's not Canada dude.

Just bring in a 12 oz mickey of your favourite booze, order an XL coke, and voila, problem solved. You get to drink your coke in the alcohol-free zone, and everyone wins. Just don't get totally wasted and you should be fine.

I went to a game there two years ago and they ejected a guy who was just having fun and was standing too much (of course he had a couple of beers, but he was not totally drunk nor obnoxious or rude). Ottawa is a different place, especially for vocall Habs fans.

That's better. I was getting worried there.

And oh, while I'm here: **** off very much Coke, who made your money by putting cocaine in your drink until 1920, and your family non drinking sections at rinks. Corporate Tools.

Not that deflating. It's a good atmosphere. Take a look at Alfredsson's career numbers against the Habs.

It's called a family zone so that guys like me can bring their toddlers without getting beer spilt on him or excessive swearing...
