I heard that those three and Forsberg will play for Nashville on Saturday instead of Game 2 in Milwaukee!

Without the 4 Musketeers in Game 2, I see a 4 game Texas win. The people in Nashville must have gone stupid to pull this stunt. Win both games in Milwaukee and the heat is all on Texas. I don’t think that they can win all three games on home ice. Go there 1-1 and it is all uphill for the Ads. Doesn’t Nashville want their prospects to have a lot of playoff experience versus a meaningless game in the NHL? It is a poor trade on the part of the Nashville brass!

It's about needing players to actually field a team.

Really hate to say it, but I'm truly wondering if Forsberg even dresses for Game 1 tonight in Milwaukee. Had to be sat for a game in order to slide his contract this season, but couldn't sit as a healthy scratch due to the number of emergency recalls on the roster. It is known he will play for Nashville on Saturday. Very possible this might just be a paper transaction and Forsberg is recalled today prior to Game 1. I would hope not, but there is still a chance he could play for Sweden at the World Championships and I think that's where they want him to play if given the opportunity...

Hope I'm wrong, but bottom line is due to the injuries in Nashville, Milwaukee is in a tough spot for Game 2. This team has battled recalls and injuries the past two months though and thrived, I'm not counting them out of Game 2 by any means. Need to win tonight though...

Milwaukee has over 6 feet of scandanavian goalie between its pipes. might as well get used to playing behind a lineup that is subpar and thrive in the role.

Admirals lose game one 3-2 in OT. Outshot 44-31 and were in their defensive zone for about 5 minutes before the Stars finally tallied the game winner.

You get a gold star! Forsberg didn't dress for Game 1. Watson is staying in MKE. I saw Josh Shalla back up from Cincinnati last night. He held his own out there.

Ford was bad last night. Give aways and bad penalties. Milwaukee could sit him and play Bitetto on D and Valentine on the wing. They need more team speed and physical play against Texas. Losing Henderson and Bang will hurt, but that is minor league hockey. The Admirals looked more tired in the OT than Texas. It was only Game 1!!!

And Milwaukee doesn't? I think you made my point. At least Watson is staying since the Preds have Forsberg 2.0.

Game 5 between Cincinnati and Gwinnett is tonight as both teams look to take a 3-2 series lead.

Last that I heard it was in double OT. Cincinnati had a big lead in shots.

Ads tie up the series with Texas. 2-0 win, Hellberg with his 7th shutout in his last 28 games. Watson with the game winner in the 2nd, Moore with the empty netter to seal it from about 160 feet.

Milwaukee won Game 2 by 2-0 score. The Admirals had an ENG in the last minute. Mike Liambas and Brad Winchester were both knocked out of the game. In Liambas' case, it was a literal KO via the much larger Luke Gadzic.

We will see if there is any extra discipline for Liambas or Gadzic. I never saw what happened to Wincester. It was in the far corner from me. He fell over like an old tree onto his face and stayed on the ice for a while before being helped off. I never saw any replay. I will guess an elbow to the jaw, but that it just a wild guess based on a scrum in the corner.

Milwaukee finished with 10 forwards, nine if you subtract Valentine, who was playing a wing. He had another good game, threw some good hits and broke up some rushes in the neutral zone.

The good news is help should be on the way! I would assume Mueller, Henderson, Bang, Rask, and possibly Forsberg are headed that way

Forsberg is very unlikely. He will likely stay available for Sweden at the WC's if called upon.

makes sense. plus no need to do the whole PTO thing.

would Blum be eligible to go down now that our season is over?

Blum would be eaten alive by Texas. Those goons have already clubbed Ellis in the head three times so far in two games. They were actually penalized twice for doing that. Of course the refs missed a few other high sticking calls on the Stars, including one in the center circle in game 1! With 2 refs, you would think they might have noticed the player falling backwards onto his back after being stunned. Perhaps it had something to do with the puck being 50 feet away at the time.

I don't want Forsberg down here now. He is a stranger to the team. Send Mueller et al who have played and know the systems in Milwaukee. The transition will be much smoother. I would like Clune and Gill. Even the GOONS are bigger in Texas!

Thought I'd share a local radio reporter's tweet:
Only in #Leksand: Just met Filip Forsberg riding a bicycle carrying a hockey stick and dressed in a Nashville sweater. Field hockey time!

That is amazing.

Congratulations to the Cinncinati Cyclones as they defeat the Gwinnett Gladiators 5-3 in game 6 to take the series 4-2.

In Game 3, Milwaukee played Ford on D and Valentine was a scratch. Big mistake. Valentine should have been a wing; he has more speed than Ford on D. He was a reason that the Admirals won Game 2. How could Evason sit him out after that?

Weren't the first 5 games played in Cincinnati due to arena issues in Gwinnett?
As much as I wanted the Cyclones to win, I want to see their opposition get a fair chance. Getting the rug pulled out is not cool.

Milwaukee lost Game 4 by 2-1 and the series by 3-1. Total goals were 7 to 5, averaging just 3 a game. Texas seemed to score when they really needed to do so.

Kevin Henderson scored the lone goal for the Admirals tonight with assists to Beck and Bartley. Milwaukee out shot Texas 35 to 26. The Admirals had 8 D-men in the line-up, with Captain Mike Moore and Valentine playing on the wing.
