To think, if they'd have beaten one of Calgary or Edmonton.... 2 of the worst teams in the NHL, they'd be playing the Nucks and might actually have a chance.

And now we get to listen to Yeo's excuses. Please fire this dude tonight.

Concussions do not heal like a broken leg or blown out knee. They do not just get better each day.
I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that he had any type of serious concussion.

He was as visible as the captain on the other side.

I'm feeling pretty ****ing deflated, too. This team's just been too emotionally inconsistent, and too bad at bouncing back from tough losses. Hate to say it but I've got a bad feeling in my gut that they'll completely forget all the discipline that made them competitive tonight.

Seriously... this is one of the dumbest things I've read. The Wild played a great game tonight. Considering the last time these two teams played, it ended 1-0. The first time these teams played it was a 3-2 shootout... I'd say this is more the NORM for how the Wild play vs Chicago, not the exception.

With another 2 days rest to prepare, I'd be surprised if the Wild don't show the same effort in another close game on Friday.

I want to see a much more aggressive Koivu next game.
In other words he's a 3rd line center. I agree.

his creative skills on the ice are not even close to worthy of a 1st line center, and he'd be middle of the road at best as a 2nd line center.

I love how we can take the best team in the NHL to OT and yet still some posters make it out to be some embarrassment.

Disappointing to see Suter make that big gaffe to give up the game-winning 2-on-1 after he played so many solid minutes.

But the worst part was easily the classy, classy Chicago fans booing Harding when they announced the 3 stars.

I don't even want to win now. I just want to eliminate Chicago.
Stay classy Chicago, classy I say.

Fair enough. Again, I don't want to fight.

Anyway, where was Parise? All that money and I did not see him all night.

Good luck in game 2. Would love to see you take Chicago out.

You know a lot of 3rd line centers that put up 60+ points do you?

Am I really getting sucked into a Koivu debate right now? Dammit.

I'm a Koivu hater but labeling him as a 3rd line center is a quite low haha.

I hope Suter and Brodin's minutes don't catch up with them.

Both of them played +/- 10 minutes more than anyone on Chicago.

Not saying it's right or wrong, just the way it is- been that way for at least the last six or seven years...
Is what it is.

Would I liked that to not happen? Sure, but we don't have a moral high horse either.

And stop trying to sell Mikko off as a 1st line center. it's embarassing.

Where was Parise tonight?

He needs to be in front of the net winning battles for the puck. Instead he just can't win these battles. He's a good rush player, but I'm beginning to doubt the other stuff.

That is what is embarrasing. I swear some of the so called Wild fan posters really are trolls in disguise from Edmonton or something. It becomes even worse when they are cutting loose in the main thread GDT.
