Hopefully Minny gets back at them in game 2. Talk about a bad start when your starting goalie gets hurt in the warmup.

Minnesota can safely win the first round without affecting draft position. If they make it to the conference finals, then the pick plummets.

Can't root against Josh Harding personally.

If Minny makes it past Chicago, their chance of going to the conference finals shoots up big time. Best to root for Minny to lose now and keep that pick at 16.

Are we really going to obsess over the Minny pick now and infect another thread with draft position talk? Let if ****ing go and enjoy some playoff hockey.

On a playoff related note. The pace of the Ducks/Wings game has been awesome.

Selanne is a wonder. Still has the wheels at age 42.

He jammed his stick up into the defenseman's armpit and held it there to draw a call. Defenseman was obviously not holding it. Called anyway to Pierre's orgasmic praise.

It was clever play by Toews. But you can still hate him for it

Howard just got clocked in the face with Perry's skate.

Not too sure about the goalie interference call on that.

It's no better than a dive. I guess I just hate the cult of personality he has more than the player himself.

Come on Chicago, just sweep Minny and guarantee us the #16 pick... I know Minnesota wasnt expecting their 1st to be this high/low!!

I was nervous at the start of the game Minny came out flying but Chicago is so damn good, even with average goaltending.

Kane

Vanek can go "home" to Minny as long as Patty Kane comes home to us. These matchups though are pretty solid, I'm especially interested in seeing Montreal, Toronto etc play.

Probably gonna have to shell out Kopecky/Ward money (3M)

Hawks are going to lose some depth because of costs this summer with Bickell and Stalberg as UFA's (+ one of Bolland or Frolik likely traded)

Damn, that sucks It's like 2010 all over again for you guys, but at least you got a cup out of it (and maybe this year too). Losing the depth hurts, but at least the Hawks have the top end talent.

Howard is keeping the Wings in the game. They are really struggling with the Duck's speed.
