deal
Corey Perry
Devante Smith Pelly

to

For
Milan Lucic
Nathan Horton

Get a lw I desperately need, Horton's addition is a salary thing, as he is pending UFA, boston would have trouble resigning him, I take him because Selanne will most likely retire in the next year so I then will have a nice healthy top 6 rw of Ryan then Horton.

SMith pelly is a decent piece going back to him, has some upside, playable now and should get better in the future...

Milann Lucic jumps to 88 within two years or even maybe by next year and smith pelly is nowhere near as good as nathan horton. This trade is very one sided.

I know he has that progression potential and you raise a good point, Perry however is an 88 right now, boston needs to shed cap in the long run so yea, i was offered this deal (Smith pelly should be 80 ish ) ..... it is also not as bad as the leafs and van trade ....

Horton wants about 5- 6 million next season when he's a Fa boston doesnt have that room.

Trade to announce

To
Milan Michalek
Chris Neil

To
Danny Briere
Kurtis Foster

This trade gives Philly some much needed salary space as well as a little 4th line grind, as well as giving the senators a little help on defense and up front with Briere's offensive ability.

Regher
Carter
Penner

Gagne
Schenn
Schenn
Fedetenko

I like this deal quite a bit. Gagne is pretty good in this game and while he is older than carter the other pieces make up for this deal. Brayden schenn will be a solid addition to my top 6, while Luke schenn is an excellent stay at home partner for doughty. Fedetenko is a solid addition for my 3rd line which is an area of need for me. Overall I'm happy with this.

I am also happy with this as carter completes my unreal second line of offense, penner will help with grit on my 3rd line, and regehr will be an awesome shutdown defenseman for the second pair with timonen

Anybody down to make a trade?

I have plenty of prospects and some 2nd line forwards. Looking to acquire a #1 winger around 85+.

(Tavares, Grabner and Hamonic are off limits)

wow, briere, gagne, and brayden schenn were doing virtually nothing on my team, then i trade them, and then before the trades go through, schenn gets 7 points in 10 games, briere gets 10 points in 10 games, and gagne gets 9 goals and 3 assists in 8 games, what luck.

I have an over abundance of centre's and young dmen with potential, so i'm looking to ship out Stoll+Martinez+Voynov/Ellerby for a top 3 forward or a top 6 forward with good potential.
