Coudn't sleep last night. Can't focus here at work. Hugged my kids a bit to hard this morning. Breakfast came out the other end as quick as it went in.

It's time. Let's do this Isles nation. Note to Jack......play Martin on the opening shift and double shift him the whole first period. Note to Martin.....hit everything that you see.

Except us, nobody thinks we can win this series. This is our chance to change everyone's opinion of the New York Islanders. Go Islanders! YOU can do it!

Well, tonight's the night! I'm so pissed off that I have to watch this on delay. I have a rehearsal that I couldn't reschedule. Oh well, beats watching the draft lottery!

this day is taking forever. i hope they come out with a lot of firepower tonight. the only thing is i hope they dont go crazy and get out of position trying to make a big hit or do something they normally dont do.

LOVE the avatar. Seriously.

Good luck guys, here's to an evenly called game and no injuries! Unlike some in my fellow fanbase, I'm terrified of your speed and youth and really hope the Pens combined playoff experience and newly acquired grit can help neutralize what I see as your advantage in that department.

Also, if you get a lot of power plays, I'd be very confident. Our PK has been horrendous this year in case you didn't know, and obviously that's been among your strengths.

We set the tone early w/ physical play and precision scoring.

Islanders - 9
Pirates - 1

dont be so scared of ourpowerplay because as long as brad boyes the power play killer is out there we wont do much damage. i wish they would put KO or bailey out there instead. i hate how hes a turnover machine

I've only been at work for an hour, and already I can't concentrate worth a damn.

Should've called in sick, but I'm reserving that in case tonight's game goes into multiple OTs.

But the Isles should feel free to wrap it up in regulation

I'm going to miss most of the game because I new client wants to see me at 4:30pm PT. I'd like to wear my Tavares jersey to the engagement but its going to be 98 degrees.

Whew. Gotta work until 7:30 tonight so I'll be out just in time for the game. Hopefully it starts at like 7:40 so it gives me some extra time to get home to catch the game on time and not be too far behind

I am excitedly scared with anticipation... I know this Isles team is gonna be good in years to come. I just need to enjoy the ride. I might poop sitting in my poopasan (best chair ever) in a 1-1 OT game tonight... Sixer of Yueng Ling here I come. Its gonna be a long day at the office!!!

Proudly wore my Isles cap backwards with my dress clothes to the office today in DC. Yep I looked like a DONK!

I'm looking forward to seeing Tavares in playoff mode. He excels in tournament type atmospheres & I hope his linemates drink the same juice today.

Took me 3 hours to do my half hour paperwork this morning because of the excitement/nerves and constant web browsing.. Thankfully it's slow today. Can't wait!

Crosby watch:

Quote:
@pgshelly: Sidney Crosby on the ice with #Penguins conditioning coach Kadar an hour before AM skate. Wouldn't expect he's playing tonight.
Follows it up saying they'll know more after morning skate.
