Personally, I'm pretty excited for the speed in this series. Even discounting Karlsson/Subban, both teams have no shortage of speedsters. I'm sure it'll be an insane amount of back and forth action. I can' wait.

He's played two games since his injury, and he has 4 assists. He isn't 100%, but he is still producing. We'll see if he can keep it up.

If he didn't we wouldn't even be having this series so good on him.

Silver lining for the loser team is that it was a painless 1st round exit without an excessive amount of trash talk between the 2 parties.

Are there any injuries to OTT other than Spezza?

Only Mike Hoffman, who likely would've been a Black Ace anyways.

If the Sens lose, you can bet that it will be revealed that Karlsson was playing at 5%

If the Sens lose, it will be the same reaction we had last year. "Oh well, we were just happy we made it to the playoffs, it was a fun year. Here's to next season."

If you're anticipating a meltdown, you might be disappointed.

He was arguably 1st star in his 1st game back and one of the best players on the ice in the 2nd.

We know he wasn't at his best, that's what's scary. Playoff adrenaline anyone? No one can benefit more than an injured or recently injured player.

This.

I'm shocked we even made the playoffs lol. There would be no shame in losing to the habs this year. As long as it is a competitive series, and it looks like Ottawa showed up to play I'll be happy.

We're just happy to be part of the playoffs. I love the fact that Montréal is the underdog in this series against that Ottawa powerhouse.

When Spezza got hurt, I was worried.

When Karlsson got hurt, I thought it would be impossible.

When Andy got hurt, I could do nothing but laugh.

And now we're in the freaking PLAYOFFS? I don't care what happens from here on out, our team has been super entertaining this year and gives me nothing but hope for the next few.

Has there ever been a year where the 2 seeds in both conference get so little respect?

Craziness!

But he's hot garbage. Every recylcing firm in Ottawa wants him, but we're not going with Plasco, too scared of the Rod Bryden Effect.

Nobody will be saying that, but it's no secret Karlsson is not at 100%, as he has stated.

Question to the Habs fans:
Which series were you hoping for Habs v.s. Leafs -or- Habs v.s. Sens ?

Habs vs bruins with the Leafs winning the division

Would have been perfect, Habs vs Bruis and Sens vs Leafs

Pretty sure we all wanted to play the Sens before the last game of the season. After beating the Leafs in the final game, I wouldn't be surprised if most fans actually changed their minds. Personally, I'm just happy we don't have to deal with Leafs fans (yet).

I would have rather played the Leafs. The Sens actually have a hockey team.
