Chicago's third line is so good. Must be nice to have third/fourth liners who can actually play hockey.

Brodin got torched on that 2 on 1, didn't take the pass or the shot, just did some weird spinorama.

What a bank pass over Suter from Oduya though.

Perry is such an annoying mofo. Every time he's involved in contact he adds a little bit of "accidental" extra to it.

I'm surprised that Detroit doesn't have more pride, I mean they've got this guy just coming out College and playing for them? They should really look at the model of that other team from that city with a "D" with the team "Red" something, RedBlacks maybe, they would NEVER put a kid right in their lineup, they would have him toil in the minors.

Luongo getting the start for game 1. Way to back your #1 goalie.

Toronto won't win. They'll get dominated tonight because they just won't be ready, at all.

Detroit is essentially in rebuild phase, and they still make the playoffs. I think there is enough pride there. Is there enough depth on their roster? Enough experience? Probably not.

no no, I get why he plays, he's a solid young man, it's just my sarcastic rebuttal the Oilers fans who whine SO loudly about “kids not being in the minors, and the Oilers should do like Detroit Does”

Which is BS, obviously you have to develop guys, but if they’re good enough they play, Clearly.

Detroit develops players because they are always pick mid-late in every round. Those players tend to need more development time.

Certainly, Detroit has made some excellent late round selections, but it's not like anything recent has panned out as well as Zetterberg or Datsyuk.

Indeed, and I'm not saying they haven't done well, but significant thing was constant during all this time of "running their organization SO Much better:" Nik Lidstrom

Of course. Leafs fan obnoxiousness has already eclipsed Canucks fans obnoxiousness.
