What are the odds, all 3 losing teams tonight all scored a single goal.

Tough spot for him. Revisionist history says he should skate into the lane of the forechecker, but as a dman myself, I understand what he was doing being that it was a pp.

Which game were you watching??? I was flipping back and forth betwen the two OT games...wish I had a TV that could do a split picture and watch two games at the same time.

Where I live i had CBC LA-STL and then on NBCSN I had MIN-CHI

I had PiP with LA on the main screen. Saw the OT goal and swapped after it went in; as soon as I swapped, Bickell scored. Nice timing

Wont be as bad this time

Likely Stalberg/Bickell/Emery + one of Bolland/Frolik will be gone

This time the Hawks (Thanks to Bowman rebuilding system that Tallon left in ruins) have some good prospects ready for NHL in LW Jeremy Morin , C Brandon Pirri , RW Ben Smith and RW Jimmy Hayes

+ Danault/McNeill will get chance in camp to compete for open spots and see if either can run with it and join Hawks early like Saad and Leddy (Who are both looking more and more like core talents for Hawks going forward)

Love Bolland, but a little worried about his injury-prone-ness. Still would take him on my team in a heartbeat though.

I'm not all that surprised, honestly. We're back to thre pre-2005 lockout in terms of clutching and grabbing. History suggests fewer penalties will be called as the playoffs progress, so I expect a lot of low scoring games.

I still think that is on Quick. Doughty moved to get a pass to counter-attack. If Quick was that pressured he could have reversed it and sent it up the side that Doughty was not on to avoid the forecheck.

Neither can Slewidge, but that doesn't stop them from running him out there in Ottawa.

Hate to say it, but I'm there too. I want an old fashioned Adams Division style first series that leaves one of these teams smashed up but easy meat for the second round opponent.
