Probably if everything goes right and we clinch on Tuesday.

He'd have my vote for the Vezina.
No goalie has ever won it with his team not making the playoffs, Bob would have been the easy choice, but the Jackets didn't make it.
Unless they change the rules.

Think it comes down to Hank and Tuukka

I think it's good for us that game 1 isn't until Thursday so Henrik gets a few days rest since he has played every game.
I still give the goalie award to Bobrovsky.

Check out Henrik's playoff helmet. I don't recall him doing this before but I hope he keeps doing this.

Best helmet since his '07-'08 helmet, and that's only because it looks similar.

I definitely like it better than his one with the 3 swedish actresses on it.

I think he has a good shot. Tied for first in wins (24), second in games played (43), of goalies that played more then 35 games second in SAV% (.926), second most in shots faced (1190), and third in GAA (2.06).

Only thing that could hurt him are his shutouts (2) but its not like the other goalies have a lot more, either two or three more.

I think the finalists will be some combo of Lundqvist, Niemi, Bob, or Raask.

If the voters go by the maxim of missing the playoffs equals no Vezina, Hank should win it easily. If not, Bob gets it.

Do you have a picture of Hank's playoff helmet hanging on your wall? How do you remember what his 07-08 helmet looks like?

He had 24 wins!? If this team wasn't such an offensive horror show for such a long duration he'd have hit 30 again despite the lockout. I was very fond of that record and this teams garbage offense through most of the year cost him it. It'd be like if Curtis Martin had lost the similar 1000 yrd rush record because the O-line stopped blocking and the QB couldn't throw to save his life. ( He lost it b/c of a career ending injury

Eh, I'd say the lockout cost him it more than anything. The only 3 teams that hit 30 wins this season were Pitt, Chi and Anaheim and they were all rolling for large portions of the year. No goalie hit 30 wins. Hank is tied for first with 24. Playing half the games was a bigger obstacle than the team not being perfect right out of the gate IMO.

His 07-08 helmet was definitely the best. I like the new one, though.

Im curious to see if Lundqvist's greatness will continued to be called into question if he doesnt get 16 wins this post-season -- this despite having a team (again) thats seemingly unable to carry the offensive load in front of him.

Of course it will.

He'll get blamed for allowing 'soft' goals, meanwhile offense will average under 2 GPG.

Book it.

Maybe 10%. I think Bobrovski and Rask both have substantially better chances at it.

Hank can lose 2-1 and he gets blamed around here sometimes.

Always a bridesmaid never a bride (except for last year of course). Bob will come back down to earth next year after having a career year while Lundqvist will remain consistently awesome and fight another guy having a career year that will never replicate it. Any bets on who it is?

Because I started watching the Rangers during that season and thought every helmet since then was meh compared to that one.

He'll get blamed when he earns the criticism.

A goalie can lose a game 2-1 and still not have a good game.
