Just thinking about the Habs goal horn makes me mad when it goes off.

One thing I will say is a dissapointment is the lack of any kind of 'tailgate party' culture around SBP given its location and the fact that its surrounded by acres of parking lots.

I know a lot of that is weather dependent (no one wants to hang out in winter) but there are some decent fall and spring days where the grills could be blazing in the lots at SBP.

I assume the Buzz killingtons at the City would probably object based on 50 different bylaws, but its really not something that I have even ever seen contemplated.

At Bills games, which are located in a similarly rural area compared to Stittsville, a huge part of the game is the parking lot party.....I wish we had that. I know you can't compare NFL to NHL and a white collar town to a blue collar town like Buffalo, but still...

Thank God we won't ever have to hear the Sens goal song.

Fun is fine. Flame wars aren't. Seriously OT headed towards flame wars definitely isn't.

Tailgating was a pretty common affair in the playoffs last year vs. the Rangers. Sure hope we can do the same this year.

Did they let people drink openly ? Or just politely grill meat and then file into the arena in an orderly manner.

People have tried before, but by-law goes around handing out tickets if there is alcohol.

There is a reason we have the nickname "the city that fun forgot".

I saw a fair amount of people drinking with no problem, myself included. Your mileage may vary though.

Agreed, but it's usually directed towards your own players. Hey...Anymore criminals left in that Habs organization? You may need them in this round cause your're about to be robbed

Well this has devolved. Now it just seems like everyone is trying too hard.

Won't be Ottawa Bub, we're happy as heck that our team has managed to find itself in the playoffs for the 2nd time in a row and in only our 2nd year of a rebuild. That screams successand means the future is nothing but bright for our boys.

Note: Don't know how old it is..but

This is what happens when the series is the last to start, only so many Subban vs. Karlsson discussions you can have.

Prediction: pt. IV to about 500ish posts before the puck is even dropped (then discussion goes primarily to the shared GDT I assume?) after that pt. V sometime around noon Friday, and the second game should start around pt. VI. LoL.

..and those are conservative numbers.
