Dal+Edm Proposal

To Edm:
D-Boucher

To Dal:
Rw-Pisani

I know this is a trade that will likely not happen because Pisani had been signed earlier on this summer, but this is for fun so..........

Edmonton gets there defenceman in Boucher who is a very solid d-man.
While Dallas get's a top 2 Rw who might end up reaching 25-35 goals this year after a breakout playoff.

Both are not the youngest guys out there with Boucher being 33 and Pisani 29.
They will both be making 2.5 Million.

Not a Dallas or Edmonton fan, but no way is Pisani a top 2 RW...are you serious? 30-50 goals?!

Not only was Pisani resigned this summer, but wasn't Boucher resigned during the season?

no way....he's maybe good for 20-30 goals, but even Loui Eriksson ior Antti Miettinen could get those numbers next to Morrow and Lindros

maybe you could fetch Niinimaa + a 3rd or 4th out of Dallas for Pisani, but 100% not Boucher...

hmm..the Oilers won't do that...yes, they're deep @ forwards, but Pisani is their homeboy (+ just signed longterm) and i think he's one of these guys a Club only gives away if the other Team overpays....and Dallas won't

Yeah, I don't see Pisani being shopped after the postseason he had (which won him his shiny new contract, anyways). However, if Lowe was offered Boucher for him, I'm pretty sure he'd accept. While Dallas has a blueliner surplus, a trade like this doesn't exactly help.

The OilCans would never pull the trigger on that deal.

Pisani did score 20 goals again as a 3rd liner. But this trade is a non starter. I dont think the Oilers are going to be making any moves right nowand probably not until Christmas. They are high on the youg d-men and I am sure will give them the shot. They only need them to be average as they have the fire power up front.

This is where I respectfully disagree.I think if there D isnt great than roloson won't be great leading to a slump for the whole team including the offence(IMO)
