Boston isn't the same team they were a couple of years ago. As long as you have a tough guy in your line up you can take shots at their guys and they won't do anything.

With the size and pugnaciousness on these two teams, it could certainly turn into a meat grinder for both. I'm hoping for plenty of old-fashioned nastiness and violence between these foes.

Same here. And I want the Sabres to sit and watch two divisional opponents beating the tar out of one another and think "Hey, we need to be even a heavier team than this season" and find more bang in their retooling.

One upside of this series? Komarov vs. Marchand. It's hot, rat on rat action.

LOL, what a blatant elbow. Of course the Bruins would get away with that.

I hate the Leafs and the Bruins so so so much. Dripping, ugly, off the charts hate. But if I have to chose one of these idiots...

I guess I'll hope the leafs win.

Now if you excuse me I need a shower. I feel dirty.

They got away without a penalty but I'm sure that Shanahan will look at this. This was an intentional elbow, reaching out to hit the head, nothing discussable there. He has to get at least a game for that and if he doesn't, Shanahan should be banned from his job.

Tough break for Toronto..JVR rings one off the pipe, then goal at the other end by Boston. Boston deserves to be ahead though. They've been dominating puck possession since I tuned in.

If there's any consolation in Boston doing well it's that Jagr gets a swan song

Lol. Jagr is better than 90% of our forwards and he's 41 years old.

That was just bad effort by Fraser (#45) on that goal. He and his teammates were dead tired and he just flubs it to center and half the team gets caught on the change.
