I think Modano was manhandled by Rod Brind'Amour years back.

I think I remember Mike Richter flipping out on somebody awhile ago after the player ran the crease and knocked Mike over. Both players were down and Richter got up and just started beating the **** outta him.

Forgot who it was against and how long ago it was though.

I believe Jovanovski TKO'd Deadmarsh when he was still an Avalanche. Jovo was throwing some crazy haymakers and one was enough to knock Deadmarsh flat on his behind. Think he got a concussion from it too.

Not sure if Pavel Bure went much more than pushing a guy really hard when he was in a Canuck uni. DIdn't really keep track ofhis career after he left the west coast.

Yep, Jovo one-punch KO'ed Deadmarsh.

And Forsberg fought Sean Avery..wouldn't exactly call him a skill player. From what I read, it wasn't much of anything except a typical hugfest.

The Avs-Wings playoff superbrawl started with Igor Larianov jumping Peter Forsberg off of the faceoff.

I remember in early 2001-2002 Daniel Alfredsson and Jaromir Jagr went at it. That was pretty neat. Lots of sweater grabbing, though.

I was a big fan of the Kovalchuk Comrie fight last year I think. Not the greatest fight but funny to say the least.

Speaking of which, did Gretzky ever get in a fight in his career?

I believe he had two, although I could be wrong.

Just a few, yall add more

I was at the game at AWA when Briere and Comrie squared off... One of my more entertaining memories of the building.

Steve Sullivan had a go with Sami Kappanen as well. That was the Alpo days.. Probie was not allowed to go, so *sully had to take charge, baby*!

The last couple times the Blue Jackets have played the Wild toward the end of the game Gaborik has taken a couple cheap shots at Nash and then skates away and a hugfest commences. Don't really know if Gaborik wants to really fight him, but it sure would be entertaining for a Blue Jackets fan. Hey, we have to enjoy the little things.

Yzerman fought Chelios in the mid 90's. Think it might've been the lockout year.
Larionov jumped Forsberg at a faceoff in that famous 1997 matchup. Funny as hell seeing Larionov landing more punches that Floppa.

I'm sure Larry murphy got into a fight or two as a red wing. not sure with who though.
