roster cuts?

when will they make some cuts to the roster

Unlike last year, no one has yet asked Renney that question. I think that's because we expect him to do exactly what he did last year -- keep everyone on the ice as long as possible in order to evaluate them, and then make his first round of cuts before the traditional Blue-White scrimmage that ends training camp.

This year, that game is scheduled for Monday morning (the only on-ice activity for the day, the team participating in a benefit golf tournament in the afternoon, and the pre-season schedule beginning on Tuesday in Jersey).

So expect 15-20 players to be reassigned back to juniors or to Hartford training camp tomorrow in the late afternoon, early evening. With all three current teams scheduled for on-ice activities Sunday, I don't see any cuts any earlier than that.

what about the Eric Hunter situation, he must be signed to play for the Pack since he is already 20 years old. Will Hunter be signed to play in the minors or going back to juniors and then signed???

Hunter was sent back to Prince George.The Rangers and his agent couldn't reach an agreement on a pro contract
