I would be pissed about that as well.
O'Rourke made the ridiculous goalie interference call. Tim Peel then called off the good goal. It was a badly officiated game all around.

LaPresse also covers the Sens.

The thing I have a problem with when it comes to officiating is the inconsistency. I have no idea how the players can even have the slightest clue as to what a penalty even is these days. The rules change every game, heck even every period.

Some are obviously worse than others but they're all pretty inconsistent, and linesmen DROP THE GD PUCK!

phew, got that out my system. I hope no ref dictates the outcome of this series.

Why complain about a behavior that nobody denies they'd participate in as well if it were their team?
No I get your point, I just find it irrelevant. You are comparing it to a situation that isn't happening and a position that no one took.

Of course we would complain about Lee, and of course we are laughing about the complaints regarding Rourke. Such is the life of a hockey fanatic. Especially in a playoff series. This is why banter exists.

If everyone was worried about sounding a little bit hypocritical, there wouldn't be any posts on HF. Much ado about nothing.

The fact that the NHL allows Peel and O'Rourke to ref games together is a joke on itself. I remember that game, it was bad, absolutely, but the Sens definitely got the raw end of the stick.

Gonna be the worst series of the playoffs, by far.

If you enjoy watching defensemen who can barely skate backwards turn the puck over at their blue line 18 times a game, then yes worse than the BOS-TOR series.

It's okay, O'Byrne and Komisarek are still waiting in the wings.
