Very bittersweet moment, though. It was such a high to be only one goal away from stopping their cup run.

So pumped. Can't wait to see how the kids perform under pressure.
On the same goal, Marc Denis would probably be babbling something we can't really understand 100%, all while stating the obvious and describing the play as if he was a radio announcer instead of telling us why this goal happened.

For some reason I cannot get pumped up for the series. I keep thinking that Price will choke and I can't get past it. I am usually the most fired up fan. Weird
NHL Network polled their panel the other day and asked who's under the most intense pressure in these playoffs and the panel was split between Fleury and Price. I think Price is under incredible pressure because the team is not stacked the way the Pens are so he's got very little room for error.

Let's hope he rises to the occasion.

This is how I feel! I'm guessing most here haven't heard this song. Soothing, uplifting, brings happiness to me.

Feeling pumped up, still, I feel some emptiness, because I'm really not sure of what we will see tonight. This team has showed us both extremes in the last few weeks, same thing for Price. We'll see. I trust them to win this series if everything that should logically happen happens. i.e. if our best players show up, that Price plays up to his talent, and if we stay focused. But in the playoffs, logic is not something I would count on...

We shall see!

I actually enjoyed Brunet in the playoffs because that's when I want to hear a complete homer. For those old enough to remember, during the 86 cup run, they had Mario Tremblay join the live broadcast as an analyst. Needless to say, he was a completely partial cheerleader. I remember how that drove Nords fans completely nuts. Good times.

Here's a quiz for older posters:

Does anyone remember Mario Tremblay being interviewed by Don Cherry and Ron MacLean after a playoff win (I believe it may be the 86 cup) and Don Cherry stands up to let Mario sit down. As Mario is about to sit, he grabs a huge phone book that was on Cherry's chair and puts it on the desk in front of them (live on TV). Apparently, Cherry used to sit on it so that both of them would look about the same height for the camera. That's one of the funniest playoff memory I have but can't find the video. Is there some CBC video archive somewhere? I remember my dad laughing so hard he was crying.

I want to see Eller and Karlsson take care of business and put their little grudge match to rest (or enhance it) with their fists at some point during this series.

I was supposed to go out and look for a job today. Everytime I think about it, the Habs just get on my mind, it truly is playoff time.

Ah... I remember Sergei Kostityn's goal for that game. So glorious. Case of a player scoring before he had the change to ever go the opposite direction from his goal.

Great GDT

Our PK needs to step up. It has simply not been good enough this season. One thing I would like to see change is having 3 players hunt for the puck thus leaving an wide open player for a good chance

As someone named "HiggsBozon", you should know that the emptiness you feel contains massive win energy. Physics in on the side of the Habs.

Exercise is the best way to get rid of stress, not to mention earning the right to enjoy some empty calories. I went for a run earlier and am psyched, calm and hungry for the game.
