Price has been living off his draft position for 8 years now.

2nd goal was his fault, 3rd was on White, Diaz and Gorges, 4th goal was just a lucky bounce

The fourth one was 100% his fault. He's been giving up bad rebounds all night.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Budaj tomorrow night since it's the 2nd game in 2 nights and it'll give MT an easy out on pulling Price.

If Price doesn't have a better showing in the rest of this series and we lose, then I'm totally open to trading Price for one of the top 3 draft picks this year. We can get that level of goaltending for a cheaper price (no pun intended).

Man, using a high draft pick on a goalie is a terrible idea. Good goaltending isn't hard to find.

Price isn't worth anywhere close to a top 3 pick.

I've pretty much quit coming here because most here live like ostriches and don't want to believe the facts. So go ahead and believe we can win with Carey in the nets and a small team, especially defense.

Not saying tonight was his fault, but in the playoffs you have to be incredible. The second goal, he should have stopped it. The third one? Definitely not his fault but a good goalie like Anderson would have stopped it. Fourth goal? Bad rebound, he should have stopped it too.

2/3 of the goals were not his fault but should have been stopped. That's what Anderson has done tonight.

I'd make the trade in a heartbeat.

Galchenyuk is that good as a 18 year old (he's 19 now, but it's his 18 year old season... anyway) and will be excellent in the near future. Price is barely above backup level at the moment and isn't getting any better from year to year.

4th goal was all price, his handling of that floater was amateurish. He's been brutal, it's ok to admit it.

The only reason I have any hope for Price is that he played his best right after Halak was traded and he had more pressure on him than possibly any player we've ever had. However, I just don't think he'll ever be great for this team and quite honestly his playoff career has been abysmal.

You have to go back to him for the next game -- this team has no hope of going far with Budaj, but as far as I'm concerned if he doesn't play well this series and we're eliminated in the first round, I would like us to trade him. I think he's young enough that another team would be willing to pay for his potential rather than performance, but if he doesn't turn it around I think the fans will make it impossible for him to succeed here next year and at that point his contract may make him untradeable.

I don't know, maybe I'll feel differently after tomorrow's game, but I have very little confidence in Carey Price right now and I imagine that's probably the same for his teammates. The guy is paid to be our best player and it's been very rare this year that he's been the best goalie on the ice.

No team would trade a top 3 pick for Price. He's built up a reputation based on smoke and mirrors. He's been absolutely brutal, this last 3 or 4 weeks of netminding has been some of the worst I've ever seen. I understand slumps, players going through bad spells ect, he's been nothing short of disastrous. Terrible, terrible, terrible. One of the best shot differentials in the league and a goalie who is absolutely garbage atm. I don't think he was particularly good be4 the slump either, but during the slump h's taking suck to an all new level.

Every goal is someone trying to justify why it wasn't that bad. Good goalies make key saves. Just because a goal may not have been his fault only doesn't mean he shouldn't be expected to save them from time to time. There's no sign of improvement either, everything looks like an adventure. Beyond terrible.

I can't wait to hear the next batch of excuses of Price fanboys. Why is it so difficult to understand, he's a good goalie but he's just not there yet. Every playoffs it's the same story, no matter what anybody says he always gets outplayed by the opposing goalie. He's mentally weak and he's just not sharp...end of story! Shot tipped, lucky bounce, etc...who cares, he's not sharp. And again got outplayed by Anderson. Get used to it people, he's gonna be worse tomorrow.

Bad game but he can bounce back. Habs don't even need Price to play at Anderson's level, just good ie stopping that 2nd goal & 4th goal.
