Hell, Therrien should be fired anyway for destroying Ryder. As soon as Bourque came back, he demoted Ryder and now Ryder does not give two ***** about playing for Therrien.
When a team expects PK to be blasting it from the point, perhaps a down low or back door play is in order? Ridiculously bad 5 on 3. The other thing was that MT called a timeout before the 5 on 3, glad to see it did ****-all.

50 shots and they lost, it's obvious that Anderson stole the game.

They play like that all series and they take it IMO.

Awards:
MacLean out-coached Therrien.
Anderson out-played Price.

Simple as that. On to game two tomorrow.

I love Price but I can't defend his play tonight.

I would be so pissed at myself for letting those goals in during a play-off game. I would apologize profusely to my teammates and challenge myself to be better. He has to challenge himself to be better because those goals kill you in the play-offs.

Lol at you blind fanboys keep defending the Habs... ''its only One game blablabla'' rofl. The only forwards that are worth something are Eller, Gallagher, Galchenyuk, Prust and Maxpac. Rest is ****ing ****. I would move everyone but Subban and Tinordi and revamp our D. Price is so weak mentally, must have been bullied as a child or something. ****ing unreal.

I haven't given up on him as a goalie, I've given up on defending him for his terrible play right now. He sucks. Plain and simple. He hasn't always been this way, he started out this season perfectly. At some point, he was out for a weekend because of the flu or something. He hasn't been the same since, and it's been especially bad in the last month or so.

We dominated them like hell they had no business on the ice with the habs but Price crapped the bed again and allowed 3 goals on 6 shots and for christ sake it was not on the d tonight they played well but Price was horrible in the 3rd period.

No Eller will hurt as hell there goes our slim chances at a stanley cup if he doesn't return.

Seriously **** the hockey gods tonight, it looks like they wanted to mock us really hard. Those kind of loses are the worst kind and nobody sane could advocate the fact that the sens deserved the win.

It was highway robbery.

Loss rage...we've all experienced it at some point. It takes 4 wins, Habs are far from done, but a win tomorrow would be nice, it might calm some nerves.

No.

It's not the time for him to face the media. He has a very short period of time to re-focus and get ready to steal game 2.

If we lose this round and we see another performance like this. The leash will be a lot shorter next year and that play-offs will be the deciding factor of his longevity in Montreal.

I don't know if I can stomach more of Price being a total failure. It disgusts me to see him crap the bed like this after the habs played their heart out in the first 2 periods. However, he's paid 6.5M and we need to ride him to oblivion. Keep Price in nets until he mans up and decide to stop sucking or until we lose shamefully.

bottom line DD 19 mins, chucky 12
DD no shots
Tinordi 3.
can't play with DD and gionta in top 9. can't do it
unless they're massively insulated.
gionta isn't scoring and he's useless.
Diaz a nice complimentary dman but needs to
play with a banger to be effective

It's not about giving up on him but he's got to help himself by showing us that he can steal a game like Anderson just did and like Halak did so many times. Nobody's expecting him to do that all the time but good God we can get that type of goaltending for much cheaper from almost every second-tier goaltender in the league.

If he ***** the bed for the rest of the series then I'm fully open to trading him for a top 3 draft pick from this year.

Exactly! Price simply didn't show up. The entire team needs to step up, but when your goalie has a bad night, you can't expect to win the hockey game. below .900? Get outta here.

His save percentage since the start of March is under .900. Way under.

A career 2.90, .906 playoff stat line is pretty bad in the season that most goalies step their game up.

Just saw the game....best goalie won. Not the best team. And with Eller out, it puts Galchenyuk in a position he loves but didn't play all that much. I guess we're not in the driver's seat anymore...Didn'T take long.

And Price well...he's still Price. What an awful 2nd goal to give.

Dumont should play over Desharnais..

LoL at the ones who thought Desharnais had elite vision it was all about all the space Cole and Pac were creating on the ice.. Desharnais is just an impostor, an AHLer in a NHL jersey.
