Holtby was better than Hank tonight. If that continues, we're in big trouble.

Hank let in a huge softie. Nash looked like he was sleepwalking. Bad combo.

On the plus side, great game by Hags and McDonagh aside from that miracle pass that passed him.

It wasn't that bad. Aside from the lousy start we pretty much controlled play. I feel like there were solid chances and goals will come eventually.

Lundqvist was badly outplayed and McDonagh and Girardi took a night off.

Will Torts admit the Power Play is unacceptable? Anything can happen.

Thread title an exaggeration of more epic proportions.

Lundqvist got outplayed by Holtby.

The home team won game 1? Holy ****!!

Long series left. Win Saturday and we still come away with the goal as the road team.

This is more or less what I expected.

2nd half of the game was more promising. Lets just tie the damn thing up on Saturday

Oy Vey.

I can't believe how quickly meltdown mode is activated on these boards.

Take the next one Rangers.

Kreider and Hagelin were good tonight. Lundqvist needs to stop the softies. We lost this game on the 5 on 3. Nothing else really went right after that. Long series, though.

Textbook how to beat yourself hockey.

"we want to stay disciplined and stay out of the box" <<< LOL That worked out for thirty seconds.

Score on that 5 on 3 and it's a completely different game. Hagelin cashes in on that breakaway? Completely different game.

That third goal though was as back breaking as they come by Lundqvist. You knew after that the game was over. Was nice to watch McD and Girardi continue to have their heads up their ***es.

Hope to see Staal back in game 2. We need one in Washington.

We couldn't score at all. Our one goal was off a cap guy... Wonderful.

Lundqvist made some good saves, but gave up softies.

But they scored 1 ****ing goal. Terrible anyway you slice it.

Totally agree with Duguay.

This is easily a winnable series.
