And to think a few weeks ago Hab fans wanted Giroux+ for Price on the trade board.

They only award them on glove throws.

That was a classic move by Hartnell. He wasn't even subtle about it!

Also, in the LA-Blues game -- which is really getting chippy -- I LOLed at the Quick all-pro NFL tackle on Perron (I think). After making a save, Quick was was out of position and on his back. Perron came in looking for the puck, and Quick wrapped both arms around Perron's ankles and took him down. No call.

For a while last season and to start this season, Price looked like he was starting to fill in to his potential. He lacks the consistency.

On my first watch I thought it was because he was straddling Quick and keeping him down

thats still my 2nd all time favorite flyers moment of the past 10 yrs. gags gwg against the bruins in game 7 i number one. 2010 was magical for me if only we had even an NHL caliber back-up in goal

Yeah, it was hard to see from the on-action camera, but the reverse angle showed his arms around Perron's legs.

The Kings are outBlues-ing the Blues right now. No room for the Blues to move in the offensive zone.

2004 was neat and all, as was 2000, but that 2010 run is my favorite.

Looks like Doughty took a stick or forearm to the temple/eyesocket area. That can be a gruntle-disturbing experience.

On another note, and this is something from a while ago, but Datsyuk is incredible. You've probably heard of him once or twice.

Does he play for the Thrashers?

Meh, he's a 6th round pick showing a little flash. He'll regress to the mean soon enough.
