Isles-Ducks

To Isles: Bobby Ryan

To Ducks: Nino Neiterraiter, 2014 1st rounder, B Prospect

We all know Nino is not happy. I dont see him in the future for the Isles. JT needs a serious upgrade at forward after the Isles realize they should have kept PA Parentaeu. Isles might need to add a little more but this is very doable.

Isles would need to add, A LOT.

Really not even close as far as value goes. NYI doesn't have the pieces to land Bobby Ryan, unless Tavares was on the table.

I respect your opinion but Nino's value is higher than most people think. What is alot? What pieces dont the Islanders have? If they want to make it happen the Isles prospect pool as a whole is probably the best its been in a long time. I dont know what the Ducks weaknesses are prospect wise but who couldnt use a power forward prospect like Nino?

But that's the thing. The Ducks just finished 2nd in the West, already have a very good 1C in Getzlaf, a Top line Winger in Perry, and an extremely underrated and talented group of secondary pieces.

They wont have any interest in prospects or picks. None. The only way they would move Ryan is for an upgrade in a position.

The Isles simply don't have that Upgrade piece that would tempt the Ducks into moving him.

As for the proposal. Nino is a solid prospect. But he still hasn't don't anything in the NHL after 40+ games, and has voiced his displeasure/unhappiness in the Isles organization, that will hurt his value at least a little bit. Then if you aquire Ryan a 2014 1st is very likely to be a 20-30 pick if not 25-30.

So its basically a decent prospect + late 1st + B Prospect for a Top line 30 Goal powerforward on a fantastic contract for the Ducks.

Just no reason at all for ANA to move him for that deal.

Hamonic++ is what could potentially get the ball rolling for the Ducks, even then with Fowler and Beauchemin, the Ducks might not have much interest in a guy like Hamonic.

I'd do Ryan for Hamonic

Prospects and picks aren't needed.
