I guess we'll see what type of team the Habs are really made of tonight. That Ottawa Sun cover needs to be posted in the room and that alone should make every Habs player want to go through a Sens player tonight and the rest of this series.

If the Habs don't come out playing very angry tonight I'll be very disappointed.

Tonight may be a defining moment in Carey's career.

If he poops the bed, most Habs fans will be calling for his blood

If he stands on his head and wins all is right with the world

I haven't lost faith yet Carey....just keep your head up and in the game!

Go Habs!

is there a site that shows how much time we spent attacking (in sens zone) per period?

Going to the game tonight. Really hope our boys pick it up. Our game reminded me of years ago when we played ultra defensive against caps/pens. We can't allow ourselves to do all those perimiter shots we did last night.

We can win but we need Tinordi to play more than 12 minutes...

Bruins fans will also jump on the occasion and accuse Armstrong of embellishing the fall.

Very. Considering he rarely did that while playing for Montreal.

I'd like us to stop taking bad shots. We are wasting scoring opportunities by flipping the puck at Anderson. Half the time he's not even producing rebounds. We are carrying play in their zone but are taking such weak shots on net. I'd rather continue to grind them and look for quality chances and in the meantime prevent some of their transition.

Moen and White need to step it up and actually provoke something for once!

The rest of the veterans were also invisible last night!

NO CONFIDENCE in Price... sorry guys. I defended him this year but what happened yesterday was too much.

We lose this one and Price gets booed off the ice in the last home game of the season unfortunately.

Price would be excel in a smaller market. The fishbowl that is Montreal requires a special type of player ala Patrick Roy

I thought Moen, White and Prust were playing awesome the first half of the game yesterday, line was playing very physical and was tiring out the Sens D. Obviously they got out of a rhythm once we were on the PP for a good portion of the second period.

We basically had three players who showed up last night: PK, Bourque and Gallagher. Others like Plecks, Gally, Pacioretty were just average at best.
Some real lows from last night:
Diaz- looked completely lost. Looked like a borderline NHL player at best.
Desharnais- totally over matched.
Markov- Too slow. He is essentially our version of Sergei Gonchar ( a PP specialist at best)
Ryder - invisible

My wife started crying yesterday when she saw Eller on the ground.

Then she cried of joy when we scored the 2nd.

Then she was in tears again when we lost.

At some point she wanted to stop watching she told me playoffs hockey is too much to handle for me.

They better make her cry of joy only tonight!!

Me too, actually.

The Game is the greatest spectator sport on Earth, bar none.

But a devastating facial smash with blood all over the ice??

Sickening.

And just not worth it.

It brought back memories of thinking Maxpac was paralyzed while he lay out cold for 5+ min.

Patrick Roy was a big game player. Him being run out of town was all on Tremblay. Come to think of it have Tremblay and Roy ever been on l'antichambre together?

We don't need to do anything different. We outplayed them, outshot them and outskated them. Only thing we need is goalie that can make a key save here and there. Last night if Carey is just a little above average we win the game easy without even blinking.
