Ya, Lalonde was named Canadas' Outstanding Lacrosse Player of the first half of the last Century. Mercenary & riotous hockey career, prolific goal scorer but also noted for his rough play. Legendary feud with Joe Hall (while playing for Seattle, Hall died in 1919 as a result of the Influenza outbreak which cancelled the Stanley Cup Challenge that year) of the Quebec Bulldogs that would fill the old Westmount Arena when Newsy played for the Habs, then went on to Coach Montreal...
