Allaire and Roy are great tho. Great hindsight and Roy is a huge addition to the panel.

One thing, we lost some talent with Eller, Gio and Patches out, but guys like Bourque, White, Moen, and Armstrong provide this team with the grit factor. We played better defensivey, were stronger along the boards and out hit Ottawa 37-26. That doesn't mean I don't want Patches back. He's our best offensive forward, but this team is just fine without Gionta. MB has to trade him in the off-season.

Also, Tinordi played almost 16 minutes and was just solid out there.

anybody who has paid attention to Tinordi know he has the pedigree, work ethic and character to develop. at worst he'll be a top 4 hard-hitting, D-zone specilaist. maybe he can develop some kind of O game like pronger or chara. maybe

It would have been classic to see Karlson drop the gloves and challenge Armstrong for that hard hockey play on Bourque.

I'm sure it'll be up on the Habs site or RDS soon. Love Therrien.

So true, I agree with every word.

Great game tonight, a few thoughts:

1. Price was nothing short of heroic.

2. So glad White had a great game. I've believed that he'd be a good player for us for a while now. Patience pays off. He could be a Darcy Tucker type guy.

3. Tinordi - So nice having him in the lineup.

4. This is the second time I've seen a full game with Karlsson (didn't see last night's) and (once again) I was not impressed. I'm sure he's a great player but I've probably seen the two worst games of his career...

Guess I'll have to watch the next game.

Halpern and Armstrong had good games too. I guess Dumont sits when Patches gets back?

Plekanec will never get the props he deserves but he played 22+ minutes, won 64% of 25 faceoffs, had almost 4 minutes of PK, playing essentially a shutdown role on the Sens top line with no offensive players.

In the end people will only see he had no points but the role he plays is invaluable.

That's getting behind your players.

Don't think JM would do anything close to that, honestly.

Therrien is great. I love it how after two games, the coaches are at each other's throats.

I disagree, loved him tonight and I'm sure we all appreciated his game. It's just nice sometimes noticing some1 else than Plek. Tonight Bourque, Price and White were amazing.

He has a thankless job. But he did make one really horrible pass on the breakout that got us pinned in our own zone for a while at a key point in the game.

I like Plekanec, but he hasn't been at his best for the last month or two. But I won't say a word against him because in the past few years he has shown up time and time again for us and contributed more than most. He will get a ton of slack from me.
