Never saw why a number couldn't be retired for more than one great player if it wasn't retired before.

Park & Leetch.

Even if they wanted to do Bathgate and Graves, etc.

another reason i like the honored number system the leafs use is that it keeps the numbers in circulation...many of us grew up watching #2, #11, and #35 on broadway and its weird knowing that you'll never see those numbers again...

a few years ago when bure wore #9 you know that EVERY time you saw him and saw that #9 on the ice wearing a blueshirt you immediately thought of adam graves (or bathgate for the older fans) and it brought back memories from watching those great rangers play...so in a way its a bit disappointing to know that 10 years from now no one will be wearing #2 making me flashback to the days of brian leetch
