Time to bench Toews

NOW!

This guy is such a waste of a roster spot it's not even funny. 0pts , who has 0pts? Me thats who, so therefore I am just as good as Toews and probably even better, as least I can grow a beard like a man. He is playing with superstars, Hossa has points and Toews, oh yeah nothing. He is dragging his whole line down.

Plus his +/- is 0, WTF? 0 what a loser. Everyone else seems to have something there but he is a 0, which is what he is on the ice too, worthless. When everyone else is contributing and all he is doing is skating around looking at the pretty lights. Take another penalty too jackass.

Lastly he can't even win FO anymore, what is he like 66% or something, Kane and Saad are at 100% and they aren't even centers. I bet Crawford could win more FO then Toews, your out there to do one thing and you can't even do that right. LOSER!

Bench, cut, or even kill him, if he ever plays for this team again I will burn all the Hawks things I own and go around destroying other peoples things, you can thank me later.

I guess you could say what he's offering to the table... is intangible.

He deserves a game off.

Now that he has a negative thread started he will be sure to pick up a multiple point game.

100% agree. Whenever I see him with the C on his jersey I'm disgusted. He doesn't deserve to be captain. Bollig should be captain, he almost scored an empty-netter once, clearly Bollig > Toews. We need to form a mob and run him out of town.

What a disgrace to the league. This is worse than Teemu Selanne almost ending his career with 674 goals.

He is a turnover machine and almost cost us game one.

Bickell has been better in the series.

If he can't win 60% of faceoffs than Handzus needs to be out there taking his draws!

Plus game two Kane fed him a pass with a wide open net and he fired it right into Harding's pads. Now he is costing Kane assists.

Hossa hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire either.

How about Saad, Pirri and Morin for Sunday's game and let Hoss and Tazer watch from the press box?

how loud were you laughing while writing this SPT? You really think that a hockey board has influence in this? I know it worked with Sharp but come on

At least put him on the 3rd line since e can't score. Just let him play defense

Spends too much time shooting Chevy commercials and not enough time shooting pucks after practice like my guy 2 Goals Sharp.

Well it is true that apart from his faceoffs. ..58% in the game last night,(though he was only 2 of 4 in the D-zone and they had good chances off those 2 lost draws)...he STUNK in thiz game when ALL our other guys showed up..he played like an MIA...Saad gdts off 7 shots...Toews only 2...no take-aways for Toew, which is the real tip-off he is having a STINKER...also kept losing puck battles...lolligagging and not focused as to getting to the right positions...in all he flat out STUNK in this game...hard to fathom how he could be so off form when everyone else was " all in" executing "Blachawks puck possession dominance"...he just wasn't "there" last night...way way off his "A" game...more like his "F" effort...Unless he played sick, Q needs to have a talk with him...he must play to form...not to STINK level...

Nothing wrong with saying Toews has had a tough game or two, hf50, but there is everything wrong with questioning his effort.

I understand the facetious spirit of this thread, but there is a serious concern I have that I really hope is unfounded. In Game#1 there was a scrum around the Wild net and Toews had gotten knocked down. While on the ice, a Wild player grabbed Toews' head and smashed it to the ice. I remember one of the refs asking Toews if he was OK after the scrum broke up and Toews had just stood up. Toews said he was OK but he looked a little dazed. I'm hoping I'm seeing more that was actually there and he's truly OK, but he did seem a little off his game last night ... so I sure hope it was just good defensive play by the Wild.

CBJ trades R.J. Umberger and the CBJ/NYR's 1st for Toews.

I've seen better shots during the 2nd intermission than I've seen out of Toews this series.

Bench the bum.
