Highlights of the czech win over belarus with Jake's onetimer.

Guess he has been told to shoot more too, 8 SOG.

That looked like a lot of his goals he scored this year. Nice snipe by Jake.

What's with the commentary..? I wasn't sure if this was soccer, or what? My two teams, Yotes and Flyers, repping Czech!

- I was really and seriously tired, but I was given rest in the last days of the regular season. So I had time to recover

- It is believed that you will be definite number one for this championship.
- This is completely wrong. The team gathered many high class players, and all of them came to defend national colors.

- We are very concerned about your psychological state.
- It is normal; I specifically came here to gain positive emotions.

- But you had an impressive altercation with the Philadelphia journalists. That must be upsetting.
- Philadelphia journalists have not been very good to me; I do not pay much attention to them. Just told them what I thought about them.

- We thought that if you are not considered as number one on the a team, you would not have joned the team. But now there are you and Varlamov.
- I've never said those words, you probably invented them.
They say self deception is at the root of habitual deceit....Bryz is either in denial, senile or a chronic liar or all 3.

He obviously pays TOO MUCH attention to the media in Philly b/c he's constantly sparring with them even if he's instigated.. besides he even said he reads their stuff in his sound-off at the end of the season.....

Sweden loses 3-2 to the Swiss. Gustafsson was on the ice for 18:52 and was a +1. They didnt score when he was out there.

I couldn't find an English broadcast of the SWE-SWI game. Was I missing something?

Seriously, it was ****ing weird. He can do good play by play, but when it comes to names or breaks in the action (goals), he SUCKS.

The "default" commentary is done by some English guys that do soccer most of the time, probably because they are really cheap lol. Pretty much every country has its own broadcast anyway.

It's just so awesome what homer got for carter. With a strong performance here and next year he will cement himself as a top 5 wing and we all know couts will turn it on.

Also big FU to bryz...can't stand this guy anymore. When you blow you have to earn your starting spot. Can't wait to see him go. Guy is the worst

He's always had a good shot. It was just prior to this year he missed the target a lot of the times. His accuracy really improved this year.

G has an assist in the Canada Denmark game.

Duchene just scored an absolute beauty.

It seemed from the stream I was watching that G also had two shots off the post.

But:

1. The stream was pretty bad quality-wise
2. The commentators seemed confused a lot of the time and I do not trust their verdict

So I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe just one.

SWE beats CZE 2-1, Gus with a secondary assist and Jake with a primary assist.

Edit: Also, Gus lead Sweden in TOI with 22:13.

if Gus can work his way into a healthy top four for us, it'll be all for the better, he finished the season very strong
