Just an hour and a half left guys! Hope we start the pre-season off on the right foot with a win tonight. Line-ups are pretty balanced but don't forget, Bonk was dynamite last year in preseason.
I don't really care about winning at all during preseason. IMO these preseason games are for finding chemistry and finding out who is ready to take PlayerX's spot. If we lose 7-5 tonight, I won't care at all as long as Koivu gets by alright, Perezhogin and Latendresse have good showings, and O'Byrne plays a good game
i think we all saw what happend. it wasn't bertuzzi - moore incident. things like that happen in hockey. we have to get over it.
the important thing is that saku's back ...... and hockey's BACK!!!!
People are still pissed at Williams not because of that particular incident but because of the fact he high sticked Markov the very next game with another bonehead careless move and to make matters worse was not called again although it happened right at the Habs blueline as the 'Canes were mounting an attack.
I only have seen O'byrne play 1 game in Pierrefonds. Do you think he as good chances of making the team, or will he begin in Hamilton?
With the injuries, his chances of making the team are raising. Though, I do not expect him to start the season in Montreal. More experienced d's will take Bouillon's/Cote's spot as he's still raw (who knows if he does very well in pre-season games). I like him and I hope he'll be good in Hamilton. He was named Cornell's (one of the best ncaa defensive team) best defenceman if I'm not wrong. I've talked with many Cornell fans, they feel he outplayed Washington's first round pick Sasha Pokulok.
