Bruins lost at least 2 games this season on last minute d.o.g. calls. Condolences for being victims of the nhl's pathetic refereeing.

Loved when torts told the ref to "get the f--- out of my sight".

I heard a referee's performance is reviewed. They don't make their reviews public though.

And also why exactly is that not reviewable? It's a black and white play - no different than 12 men or illegal touching in football which can be reviewed
Because this is hockey. The only reviewable plays are goals. And you can't even review goalie interference with that.

Going back home after that kind of 1-1 would be good enough for me.

That is, if we win.
Too bad we can't actually propel the puck over the red line

I know that. My question is why is it not reviewable. Too many men/delay of game for shooting out/closing hand on puck all should be reviewable. Takes 10 seconds to determine whether it's right and it can a huge impact (and they are not subjective - either it happened or it didn't)

How the **** do you not call that a "bat" of the puck?

If that's not a bat, I'm a monkey's uncle. He swung his stick forward.

Regardless, need to move on.

Ah the playoff OT Caps memories I have sitting here in this spot watching the TV. Gaborik being an idiot 2011 and letting the Caps score, Gabby scoring in 3OT, Brad Richards tying the game and then Staal winning it.

So, after 5 minutes of OT, the plan is to send Zucc on a break-away?
