For all the complaints, I believe that if we win this, which is still quite possible, it's a brillant result that will have a pretty large effect on the Caps' mentality, they have been playing their game very very well and haven't been able to score. Going back home after that kind of 1-1 would be good enough for me.

Penalties are not reviewable. For most of them, that makes sense since they are subjective. For objective ones like this, an argument could be made.
I know that. My question is why is it not reviewable. Too many men/delay of game for shooting out/closing hand on puck all should be reviewable. Takes 10 seconds to determine whether it's right and it can a huge impact (and they are not subjective - either it happened or it didn't)
Ah the playoff OT Caps memories I have sitting here in this spot watching the TV. Gaborik being an idiot 2011 and letting the Caps score, Gabby scoring in 3OT, Brad Richards tying the game and then Staal winning it.
