Congrats to Lundvquist, he played a great game, and is the only reason that this game was 1-0 and not 6-0.
Hate to say it, but, Lundvquist can't want to play for this group of losers much longer. He's got one more year left on his contract, but, the guy want a cup, and want's it bad. If I'm him, I signs with someone whose a contender. Imagine Pittsburgh with Lundvquist instead of Fleury, or Chicago, or any other offensive team?
Rangers deserved to loose that game. Congrats to the Caps, you outplayed us fair and square, and you got a well deserved win.
WAKE THE #$%^&* UP! They just didn't care, inexcusable to play that way in a nothing nothing game in overtime when you're behind in the series.
On paper, this is a great team. But, you can have the best players in the world, and if they don't care, they won't be good.
Caps played to win. We played not to loose. Congrats to them for a well earned victory, and god help us for game 3.
Kentucky Derby coverage on in case anyone is looking to watch anymore horse ****
Well at least it's still light out and nice outside. I'm going out to burn ant hills and poison butterflies

I dont blame anyone personally. I thought we played a good road game, and just simply couldnt score. Its bit us in the ass all year. We go through these long stretches of not being able to score and its showing up again.
So I dont think we are out of this series yet but lets be real for a sec. Can you honestly see this team winning a cup playing this style of hockey? Get rid of the dead weight INCLUDING BOYLE and get an offensive coach in here. I'm sorry of seeing the same **** year after year no matter what players get brought in. As soon as those players go somewhere else they score more goals and play on a good PP unit. Yes I blame the coaches. WHO CARES.
I'm not even quite sure how you slipped Boyle in there for the sake of it. He was one of the eater players today
I'm going to make one post here then I don't want to return to see what some of the cliff jumpers have to say...
-Rangers PP cost them.
-Henrik got us to OT.
-Needed to capitalize on one of those late PPs.
-I hate the puck over the glass rule.
-Series is far from over.
-Win game 3, and it's a brand new series.
Yep. Agreed on everything.

This falls on Torts. Say what you want about his "system", but double shifting McD after a long shift in the first place? Who the **** does that. The guy has no faith in his players. Its embarrassing. Let your team play the game.
I don't know why we make fun of the Flyers. We're the Flyers with the opposite problem. Can't score. Every year. Their D/Goaltending sucks no matter what they do. Our offense sucks no matter what we do.
If anybody didn't see the offense drying up after that week of it clicking then I got a bridge to sell you. This is the New York Rangers. Ups and Downs.
Ha. Keep fooling yourself that this is only a coaching problem.
Its definitely not ONLY coaching but coaching is a problem. I cant understand how people dont see it. We have players YEAR after YEAR that come from good PP systems and come to the Rangers and stink it up, then leave the Rangers and go right back to a good PP and scoring goals. We need an offensive minded coach because we should be scoring many more goals than this TRAPFEST.
