Why couldn't Quincey get hurt? I just do not want to be without DeKeyser, he's been a beast this year. Hand injuries take forever to heal too, I broke the tip of my thumb the week before Christmas and couldn't play golf until May last year. Sucked

Not that I care about a Bert-Sammy swap (same ****, different smell), but I honestly will never understand Babcock's logic in yanking people in and out of the lineup when he isn't even giving them a chance in the first place. In what world will a 38 year old benefit from getting 7 minutes of ice time in his first game in 3 months, and then be scratched the next game?

If he honestly expected more from Bert and was planning on giving him more ice time to begin with, then he needs to know his players better. If his plan actually was to give him ~7 minutes of TOI, then the only point in doing so for a guy like that is if you're going to ease him into the lineup over a few games.
Hopefully Babs makes a decision on who he wants in the long run and sticks to it. I think a 4th line benefits from chemistry just as much as any other line, and they're not gonna find it with a new player each game.

I'm hoping Lashoff can play serviceable. This game is so crucial.

I really hope we can compete at the level of game 2 (minus the 3rd period MELTDOWN)

This is going to be a tough game, I think. If the Wings play as hard as they did last game (the first two periods,at least), they can win. I think the Ducks are going to ratchet down and dig in.

Lol. Me too. In a perfect world Lashoff would allow Kindl to be involved in the offense a little more, we shall see. Defense needs to come first.

That's just a side effect from Flashy's GDT.

Ugh yeah I have a upset stomach thinking about it too. Hopefully we will be impressed instead of disappointed but we will see how it turns out.
