Any falcons fans want to share a report of how all of the prospects have been playing in the playoffs?

Here's a link to a very informative conversation on the Falcons season:

http://www.jacketscannon.com/2013/5/...cast-episode-x

This is from The Cannon blog and is between Dan P and Lou Bordeaux, the blog's Springfield reporter. Lots of good stuff!

springfield has blown a 2-0 series lead. manchester leads 3-1 right now and is probably headed to a elimination game 5 (best of 5)

Man, sometimes you bail way too soon.

SPR has been as resilient as the Jackets this year. Almost never over till it's over.

EDIT: it's now 3 - 3 Chaput.@ 18:24 in the 2nd.

I can't help but laugh looking at who bailed. Brass, you're a true bellwether.

General William Hull called, he wants to put you in command.

Johansen showing he cared would be amazing. It's a shame that he has the talent, but gives up on plays. Made a great move to get around 2 Monarchs in game 3, one Monarch challenged for the puck and he gave up and gave up the puck as well. I keep hearing about the great shot he has, never see it here. I know I am hard on the players, but his lack of really trying frustrates me. If he feels he is better than the AHL, play like it.

So happy to be moving on to round 2!!! Game 4 was not a pretty one, should not be down 3-1, but the Falcons battled back into it and won. Drazenovic with the game winner in OT, good to see him score again. The past 2 months Drazenovic has looked not himself, I know there was an injury, so hopefully he's getting to his old scoring self again. Round 2 begins next Friday or Saturday depending on the opponent. Hershey or Syracuse. (Hershey please!)

We saw it once that I remember, a game winner as I recall. Very nice.

The nice shootout goal was wonderful. He does not impress me most games, I find myself not noticing him and when I do it is for soft play and not finishing a play. It is frustrating to see guys work so hard with 1/10th of his natural talent and he just does not seem to care. I hope he can succeed, nice kid, but the on ice performance is all I care about.

I think EspenK was talking about his GWG against the Sharks:

33pts in 40 games, 18% shooting percentage...I'm not sure what there is not to like - unless you just don't like the guy

Maybe being in Springfield is a letdown, maybe he's worn out a bit like all of us were after coming so heartbreakingly close to the playoffs. I imagine trying to go to the A and keep that same intensity would be difficult for anyone at first. Hopefully he comes around for you guys.

Yeah, we didn't see much of soft Johansen this year in Columbus. With 17 goals in 40 regular season game down there, I'm sure she saw his shot which can be pretty good. I'm sure it wasn't easy to jump down there right into the playoffs after the run the team had up here.

The could care less feeling I am getting from him was here all the time he was here for me, except for a few games. I just do not see the skills that made him be drafted #4 in his play here. I do not dislike Ryan, he's a good kid. I just do not see the passion in his game, that is all.

Is it something in particular that's causing this thought?

In all the games I saw in junior, I just saw a big kid that didn't need to move around a whole lot to be effective ... sort of like Joe Thornton. When it mattered, he seemed to end up in the right place at the right time, usually with the puck on his stick ... but I can't remember seeing him beat guys with speed or dazzling skills all that much ... he was more apt to moving the puck away from pressure than anything else.
