MacT agrees with that as well apparently during his press conference last week... and he's probably more aware of it now than ever.

Smid named player of the game in a 2-1 loss to Sweden. Sounds like he is playing pretty well for them

Right because these goalies played as well during the season as they are in playoffs. Its not just the players who step up their play in the playoffs..

Edit: Let me just remind you that Dwayne Roloson had a .905 sv% after being traded to edmonton before putting up amazing numbers in the playoffs.

I missed the Denmark goal, but Dubnyk was awake enough the rest of the way to make a big stop every ten minutes with nothing to do in between. Definitely solid enough so far.

Ruff really doesn't like Hall and Eberle's line.

2nd period is almost over and I think I've seen them on the ice twice.

He seems to be playing every line twice before he will play them once, and then their shifts don't seem to last long at all. He is definitely not comfortable having them out there.

Hall and ebs are also getting shafted on the pp imo.

Why are ladd and simmonds out there when you have two guys who have chemistry with eachother, and one of the top pp Dmen on the team, who were part of one of the top pps in the league the last two seasons, just sitting on the bench?

I don't think Hall got on the ice until half way through the period....

He only knows 2 players,...Stamkos, and Giroux....everyone else, can have a seat...

i'm still flabbergasted there are Oiler fans wanting this imbecile as a coach.

Canada looks pretty terrible. Will the olympics be played on this same sized ice?

So, 1-1 after 2 periods. The Swiss scoring in the first on a 4 minute high sticking penalty by Robidas, and Ladd replying in the second.

I believe so.

Remember, we've had no prep time for this tournament. We're always at a rather large disadvantage here.

its weird, every time eberle hall duchene are on the ice, they're constantly looking to the bench like they know they're about to get called off. Such short shifts for that trio.

He had a couple of giveaways that resulted in dangerous chances for the Swiss. A message is being sent.
