Damn, whether he was good or bad, losing the captain of your team is always tough.

Great GDT!

Not happy that Gio is injured but happy he's playing.

If there was a GDT counterpart for the Calder, then Moroccan would be the Habs' candidate to the resulting prize...

is pacioretty a go? last i read was this:

Max Pacioretty (upper body-injury) will likely participate in the Hab's optioinal skate Saturday afternoon.
The Canadiens have indicated that they will provide an update on injured players Pacioretty and Brian Gionta sometime after the workout Saturday afternoon.

that was a while ago now

I'm confused...he's playing? Is it confirmed?
Or did you mean that you are happy that he's not playing?

They need to keep their foot on the gas pedal. Play the exact physical high-intensity game as game 2 and the Sens will be in trouble.

I'm ready to bet it's the same Injury Gionta had last year. Looks like the Bicep again.

Rather see him gone than to stink the bed with his poor defensive coverage and his so predictable slapshot from the blue line

Great GDT! I love it! Would have been perfect if it was BrEndAn Gallagher. Easy to confuse with Brandon Prust though.

Just get him behind the bench so he can still be part of the team.

Assuming Gionta doesn't play I'd like to see this :

Bourque - Plekanec - Ryder
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Armstrong
Prust - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Moen - Halpern - White

I think Army can chip in offensively , he's been given trash minutes or healthy scratch all season. Out of everyone we have in our bottom 3-4 he is the only one with a proven history of point production.

Unless you'd rather see this :

Bourque - Plekanec - Ryder
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Kristo
Prust - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Moen - White - Army

The DD line has been a 'huge problem' without Armstrong for some time now. He's gotta play somewhere.

Moen played 2 good playoff games. I'd give him top 9 minutes before Armstrong...and even though I never was a big fan of white, gotta admit that he played one heck of a game on friday and I could see him get some top 9 minutes. Something along those lines :

Bourque Plekanec Ryder
Prust Galchy Gally
Pacio DD Moen/White
White/Moen Halpern Armstrong

Go Habs Go!
