Kell to the Sting

Sorry to see Kell leaving the Knights. This has to be helpful to the Sting. A good team player.

Nice to see Mark drive him there and wish him well. Hopefully Kell puts up great numbers for Sarnia and does get that Pro contract.

It was a good pick up for the Sting as Kell is obviously a quality player. However, once again Hunter has done a very good deal for the Knights. To get a 2nd and 5th rounder for an OA is some smart horse trading. (even if the pick was originally the Knights -it is still a 2nd round pick.) For a smart Gm 2nd round picks are very valuable. Looks like with the Pelech deal, and this one Hunter is building up his inventory of picks. I don't know why Millar keeps doing deals with this guy.

This is clearly a deal for Trevor Kell's future. I'm surprised the Hunters dealt him given the fact he plays d at least as well as Ryan M. Maybe a deal to respect Ryan's dad Barry? Belan must be gone given the latest acquisition as well.

Yes it mentions it in the article that Kell is playing for a pro contract and Hunter realized shifting him between O/D wasnt going to help him. With top 2 line time in Sarnia I hope Kell explodes and everyone says London only got a 2nd and a 5th for him they got burned in that deal. lol btw I am a london fan.
