Its not painted...it was stated he is just testing helmets. Why paint all the helmets your testing? It would be stupid and a waste of time and money. There are so many different styles and feels to each helmet. Odds are Cloutier will go back to his original since its a comfort.

The Cloutier mask is weird, but way better than his old helmet...I hate those things. I bet he'll paint it properly soon enough.
I think the new Itech gear is ugly. Reeboks new equipment lineup has the same look as the last version of Koho pads. TPS pads are brutal this year as well. Hopeing to see some Brian's equipment. Burke, Snow, Legace all wore them last year.

1. MLK Jr. is on the mask with I Have A Dream across the bottom of his face. MLK Jr. lived in Atlanta for most of his adult life and he and his wife are both buried in his memorial which is about a mile away from the stadium

2. "Welcome to Atlanta" was a song by Ludacris and the video was shot in the ATL visiting local landmarks...someone said Freddy B was actually in that video as well.

Hedberg, I'm 99% sure that both Sabourin and Fleury are wearing the same pads as last season.

Jean-Marc Pelletier's new RBK gear.

He was in the Welcome to Atlanta (remix or not, I'm not sure) where they go to St. Louis. He's in the scene with Nelly and his crew.

I thought that wasn't a secret, Biron wanting to be traded. He wants to be a starter and Miller has taken over that job.

I'll have to dig through my pics of MA-F from last season, but I think the pads are the same. New mask though.

I was thinking the same thing,I kind of like the simplicity of those pads. Maybe simplicity isnt the right word for it,but once he throws on the real jersey, those pads should look cool!

Yeah, same color pads as last year but there's a slight difference in the design of the gray stripes in them.

Even better look at his new mask

Fleury isn't the only goalie the Pens have that likes those bright yellow pads either...Jean-Christophe Blanchard is a kid they had at their prospects camp and he was sporting them as well.

Fleury is in the new RBK2 pads. Sabourin's pads are just a bit different than last years

Cloutier appears to be wearing his new style in the preseason games. Perhaps he will convert finally this year.

Atleast he painted his mask, I was not liking that white mask at all. Granted someone said he was trying out new masks but the white one was hideous.

A friend of mine actually designed those pads for him, came up with the drawing and all. I love em too

I actually like Clouiters white mask better than the black one. Anything is an improvement over the one he wore while he was in Vancouver.

i think that cloutier will get a new paint job if he indeed sticks with the new mask. my best guess was that he wasn't sure what he'd do in terms of a mask this year so he just threw some LA deckles on his black/white one incase he were to switch back.

Thought this thread needed an update
1.) Auld's new helmet

2.) Grahame's new lid, obviously going the way of nascar

3.) Miller's new gear

4.) Deslauriers new pads

5.) Houle's pimpin Flyers/Phantoms gear
