I'm now 0-4 in the playoffs. Looking to not go 0-5 come Tuesday. I know I'm. Stating the obvious but the 7th is win or bust
Nabby's been a disappointment so far.

If he continues to underwhelm, I think we'll see Snow let him walk.

I've never had such confused feelings over a game. Im still furious over the Crosby call. We dominated the majority of the game and it was stolen from us. At the same time, I'm so proud of this team. We dominated the Penguins. We're showing the NHL why we belong here. The refs tried and tried to take it from us, and eventually they did. But we put up one hell of a fight. And i'm damn proud of that fact

Yea, he really has. We need him to be amazing in the playoffs if they want to win the series or go on a run, he hasn't been good.

Although, he is going against a ridiculous lineup. There PP is pretty much an All Star team.

Bailey-Tavares-Okposo would be amazing the way Okposo has been playing.

I'm seeing a lot of complaints about Nabby this post-season. Didn't he already have a reputation for being a little iffy come playoffs from San Jose?

Dam what a heart breaking loss. I unfortunately missed the game but from everyone ive talked too we outplayed them again. Penguins powerplay is the only reason they are winning the series so we need to stay out of the box. If we do that we can beat these guys. Never give up Lets Go Islanders.

So true I've been meaning to say that. Their PP kills us every time. They need to stop taking penaltys...or the refs need to stop feeding into the baby every time...

It sucks to lose but the club came back after it could have folded...

I saw a ton of good in this. They also had the chance to win it before the obligatory penalty via Crosby's presence. They failed to do that. I call it a great learning experience and move on.

I liked what I saw from most of the players out there, and our weaknesses were the clubs downfall. Nabby wasn't very good. Our defense really needs an upgrade, and I don't mean wait until the children at the Bridge mature because that will take too long. And no matter how much good Bailey does next to Tavares it is blatantly obvious we need to throw an established big time vet next to John.

Martin with the crushing hits today... I loved it. Grabner with the hits... wtf? Love it even more. Do this Tuesday and win.

I don't care about the questionable penalty calls or defensive mistakes. Nabby HAS to be better. He has to be able to steal a game for the Islanders and so far in the three games it doesn't look like he can. The Islanders were inpsiring today, they played with lots of heart - which I think we are all proud of. But Nabby has to make a few more big saves then he has been. I am not blaming this loss on him, and certainly not the 5-0 loss to start the series, but come on - just a hige save to steal a game.

This officiating in this game was piss poor...
They can be tossed for the subsequent round, not this round. Chris Lee and Tim Peel reffed these last 2 games and were generally the ones making the poor calls, I just checked the schedule and neither is scheduled to be part of game 4 thank goodness.

You're confused. The Sidney from Scream doesn't cry like the girl from Pittsburgh.

You're using the link for the image's location off of Yahoo. You're not actually posting a picture, you're trying to post a link as a picture. You have to link the picture directly. It'll end in .jpg/.png/.gif what have you. Not to mention will probably be infinitely shorter.

Ditto this.....I am VERY proud of the character this team is starting to show, but the seeming lack of impartiality on the referee's side almost makes me puke.

Still, as much as I would rather make it into the second round, the Islanders are proving they can hang more than a little on the national stage. That alone is a sort of victory, but no where near as sweet as bouncing the Pens to the golf course in the next 4 games.

Things to be addressed between RIGHT NOW and the offseason:

Goaltending - (Nabby, you're breaking my heart.....)

Defense - (it opens a can of worms to scratch your captain, but Streit's doing it to himself)

#1 RW - I never thought I'd say this and mean it, but it could wind up being Okposo, as long as he keeps eating his wheaties throught the summer and doesn't slouch his ay until the home stretch, as habit seems to dictate. I'd rather have a veteran on JT's flank, but if Snow can find a worthwhile trade, it is what it is.
