This kid is a potential 5th round steal! Becoming a common theme for Timmins.
This kid can flat out play. I watched him live when he scored his first AHL Goal! Great signing, awesome talent!

You'd think one would work on something with a deadline that's sooner, no ?

Hudon's hockey sense is off the chart. Not common in players his age.

Never saw this kid play before. Your comments seem positive about him. What position does he play?

I've watched him a lot in the Q and I liked what I saw. Kid is a pure gamer and I love this signing.

Awesome news! Hudon is such a fun player to watch. Insanely high hockey sense and extremely creative. He's really responsible defensively, he's a leader, and he's clutch.

Very unique player and an absolute steal in the fifth round.

Congrats to Hudon. I see him as a definite NHLer.

He was talking about his size, comparing Hudon's body shape to Giroux's body shape

Hudon plays a similar style to guys like Zetterberg and Parise. Good offensive player that can play a good shadow-game.

Actually the Sergei Kostitsyn comparison makes sense, except without the attitude.

Did they sign him now so he can possibly be called up for the playoffs?

Don't think I've heard of such an early signing.

That's a shame, I certainly expected Hudon to become a Giroux type player.

Hopefully he makes the Habs next year and Bergevin will be able to unload Desharnais while RDS is in midst of it's orgasmic media explosion.

Hudon will pretty much be as good as his off-ice training is. If he can really get stronger and faster then his potential is huge.

Either way he's definitely an NHLer in my opinion. He's not that small and his skating isn't a huge issue. Just seems to lack that high gear. His hockey sense is way too high to not make the bigs.

I thought he'd have higher potential than Gallagher before the season started but I had no idea that Gallagher would be this good this soon. Still think Hudon COULD be better.
