DD proved he can bring something when put in the right situation. Game 2 was very good for him when he had Bourque and Moen as wingers.

What killed him tonight was "soft perimeter Patch" who broke momentum and did stupid plays all over the ice, except when it was a pure North-South movement.

Desharnais is the true POS on the team, he can't feed hsi teammates, when he gets a perfect pass, he slides past it and looks the opposite direction as if he lost the puck somewhere, and is like "DERP I'M AN IDIOT" and goes back to the bench.

I totally agree with him. And if Price lays down another 0.800 SV% night next game, I'd trade him to someone who thinks he's worth $6.5 million. He's like DD, in that he's a great guy to play the percentages on over the regular season, where you get 80+ games of opposing teams just going through the motions. Come playoff time, though, where matchups are emphasized/exploited, DD and Price aren't looking like a combined $10 million in talent. Not even close.

I don't get how you can't be worried after such a performance. I get that this is only 2 - 1 for Ottawa but you can't get outplayed like that. We missed Eller bad tonight.

Getting owned by the sens even behind the bench might be good. I mean it gives extra motivation to come out big game 4 and win it to even the series for game 5 at home. Therrien and the players should be fired up for the next game.

Nothing to see here. Take that emotion and channel it for next game. We'll see what this team is made of then.

My dream: we win in 6 or 7 and on the last game, when there's 5 seconds remaining, Therrien calls a timeout and the 5 players on the ice start doing push ups on the ice. That would beat any of Walrus' trolling attempts.

Good news is that it's MUCH easier bouncing back from a 6-1 game than a 2-1 OT loss.

The scoreboard doesn't reflect the pace of the game, if Gionta ties it on his breakaway(and Anderson's 5 hole was wide open!!!) it's a whole different game. Plus 2 of the goals were while the habs were gooning it up.

I hope those ****ing losers are ashamed of their effort tonight. Disgusting.

Nothing worse than games where we get embarrassed on the scoreboard, in fights, just in every facet of the game.

Sickening.

The effort was disgusting. There was no effort, so **** that. It was an embarrassment and a disgrace. I hope Therrien tears them apart in the locker room and they ****ing show up to play in game 4. ****ing disgusting.

Habs sucked. Loved Maclean time-out though, made me laugh and realize how pathetic the habs were.

Seriously eh. The Sens GM should lock up McLean as soon as he has the victory confirmed. The guy just keeps fueling the Habs fire when it's almost out.

Humiliating performance. Got wrecked on the scoreboard and got wrecked in the fist to cuffs. It's becoming a disturbing trend. At least Subban won a fight for once, and Tinordi actually held his own when everyone was getting their ***** kicked.

Galchenyuk and Gallagher both looked absolutely exhausted tonight. Both of them shied away from the areas that they normally go to. Price wasn't exactly great, but he had zero help in front of him as Subban and Markov both had extremely poor games. Pacioretty and Desharnais had rough games and quite frankly, should be benched. I don't know why Gionta is getting so much hate, he (and I agree he's been frustrating) played okay tonight.

Time to bounce back. After the 6-0 loss against the Leafs the Habs went on an insane run. I know that did not happen after the last blowout, actually it caused more troubles for the Habs and they haven't been able to recover since, but nothing should light a fire under your ass more than getting destroyed in a playoff game.

Congrats to Pageau on the hat trick. The Sens have a ton of good, young players. They are going to one of the league's powerhouses soon.
