Refs ****ed us in this one. Sens were playing better but they refused to call a fair game. I'm steaming right now. How we can play so lifeless and scared after a gutsy performance its beyond me. We better win Tuesday. **** that walrus *******
Our fans love it. They think it's a motivation tool... a sign to wake up. Our fans like when our players get gooned and injured as well. They also interept that as a motivation tool to play better... soft, but better.
The fans and these teams (yes, pathetic teams for years now) make me sick.
I've never been so ****ing embarrassed of a Habs team in my entire life.
Played with no intensity.
Whined all over the ice.
Left their goaltender out to dry the entire night (don't even pull him when you're on 5-on-3's with no players left).
Slash, elbow and **** to the heads of players after the whistle.
Tried to fight and got punched out.
Shot pucks at the opposite team.
Yes, the Senators are a joke, a completely irrelevant and disgusting group of individuals, coaches, GMs and owner. They are also a terrible hockey club. But to stoop to their level is completely horrendous. I have a bad taste in my mouth.
I stayed on one side of the toughness debate but I am moving now. We need toughness. We need compete and heart. I want a collection of individuals who want to win. I saw way too many people who didn't care tonight and then acted like little children swinging their toys after the whistle.
Nothing to be enjoyed here tonight. Anderson looked poised to have a really bad game and with no crease-crashing, no pressure and no cycle, we squandered it.
