you'll likely get the Yankees and Mets until both lose, or one wins their last game. There won't be many people out in the bars watching preseason hockey tonight.
Great little place called Rudy's (cheap pints, free hotdogs/popcorn) has one tv, if no one is into whatever is on ask them and they usually change it. Ive watched a game or two there, and even if you dont its a great place to pregame before actually attending one, regardless of whats on.
44th and 9th - big pig statue outside.
I met jessica beil there once...but dont expect her to show up tonight.
If they dont have it there check out the Blarney Stone (W32nd) down the block from the garden, they should def have it on and they have more than one tv. they also have kick *** corned beef and mac and cheese.

Sounds great! I'll probably check out Blarney's since I'll need Penn Station to get home later. Thanks.
Try a place called Stout about a block down from MSG. I go there with my girlfriend quite often, they have a massive section of beers and a solid appetizer/dinner menu too. I don't know if they will have tonight's game on TV but they have about 6 televisions at the bar so they might have it on one. Since the Yankees may clinch the division tonight though, expect that to take all the attention.

The best place I know of, weirdly enough, is a "Mexican" restaurant called Blue Moon on 75th St. and 1st Avenue. I forgot about it until I walked by it tonight on my way home.
I've actually never been there, because I hear the food is awful, but they have a full bar. They also have the Centre Ice package and several TV's and last season, every time I walked by the place (almost every day because I lived on that block), they were showing not one, but several hockey games. It seems hockey has precedence there, over basketball and other sports.
