A poor man's Giroux probably...Giroux is a one a thousand type player. But he certainly plays a Giroux like game - shifty, great vision, competes hard for every puck.

Possible habs lineup in 3-4 years

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Hudon-Eller-Collberg
Bozon-Plekanec-Kristo
Prust-Dumont-White

?

Either way he's definitely an NHLer in my opinion. He's not that small and his skating isn't a huge issue. Just seems to lack that high gear. His hockey sense is way too high to not make the bigs.

I thought he'd have higher potential than Gallagher before the season started but I had no idea that Gallagher would be this good this soon. Still think Hudon COULD be better.
My comment wasn't to be taken seriously.

He was drafted out of the CHL, he's not allowed to play in the AHL next year even if the Habs want him to.

Actually, he was signed last season, which was almost two years after his draft.

I was talking about how I wished we had a kid coming from the minors and surprise a lot of people...I mentioned Hudon't name. WeThreeKings was saying yesterday that he didn't have a contract.....

He now does. PLAY HIM! And let Hudon be our Pageau.

Hudon is a sure fire nhlers. He's gonna make it in 2 years. At his draft year, I was hoping that the Habs take him in second round. I can't believe we had this guy in the fifth round.
