They were asking him about the timeout, Therrien called it classless. MacLean thenjust read off all the Montreal penalties...I took it as a "who's the classless one really?"

Brad Marchand though it was classless though.

Suffice to say, they look cooked. It's a tall order to come back from this sort of beating. This is the sort of thing that tests a team's willingness to do what it takes to win.
It is not even a physical thing. MTL lost their mind and it will take a game to come back by which point they are down 3-1. The Habs are cooked IMHO.

The San jose game just fell apart, from 2-1 nailbiter to a 4-1 blowout in 8 seconds.

Can Vancouver turn the couture machine off? Will Luongo be the saviour? These are the questions on days of our canucks...

I can't believe the Canucks are down 3-0 to the Sharks. That team is something else.

Call me a sucker, but I fully believe that the Sharks are a legitimate threat to go to the finals. I said in the Sharks-Canucks GDT thread that I put my WC winners this order: #1 Chicago #2 St Louis #3 San Jose

Oh you must have missed his stint in Buffalo. To put it nicely... He wasn't very good.

Every year he makes timely dirty hits that result in a suspension. He has 9 career playoff goals in 58 games. He's a 15 goal scorer who plays a borderline dirty game. Not anything to lose sleep over... there's a reason he's on a new team every year.

I just saw the Isles-Pens off NHL CI.

I gotta say, I feel really bad for the Isles, underdog team battling it out but it's like the NHL needs the Pens in the Finals...
I can understand that spear on Kunitz not being called, but that game-deciding OT penalty on Crosby?
That's just a a bad joke.

I guarantee you it wouldn't have been called if it was Penguin doing the "hold" on an Islander.

*********g joke.
Sorta trivializes the whole playoffs thing.

It's pretty obvious the coach needs to go. They have too much talent to have so much trouble scoring.

I want to rip on that call also, but I think Crosby sold it well and made it real hard to not call. In replay it was just a hand on the shoulder and Crosby fell down to sell it. He's a lot stronger on his skates than that. OTOH, NYI has to kill a penalty once in a while or they can just blame themselves.

The Nucks offensive game has been putrid in the playoffs (5 goals in 3 games). A fact that is somewhat overlooked due to the goalie drama.

So do the Sabres put in the full-court press, selling the idea of Thomas Vanek on the Sedin line this summer? It could happen out of whatever Gillis is going to have to do to rekindle his team. It's got to be rough for Kesler since he seems like the only Canuck forward who's showed up all series.
