we dominated the first 2 games and we started well in this 1. I'm not too worried.

The (Fini Le Niaisage) Thread

I think it's time for the Canadiens to step up their game, the Canadiens are a much better team then this, the Senators will not get the best of us.

what do you mean, play defense? i thought the object of the game was to let the other team's sniper walk in and take shots from the faceoff dot

LOL...I haven't been watching the games this playoffs. I knew between Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Ottawa nothing of them were going anywhere. Not this year! It'll be Pittsburgh, Washington has a shot but more than likely be the Pens. No sense watching, getting false hopes up when know Habs don't have the team.

I guess we'll see. I'm sure the team can bounce back... but can Price. Biggest game of his life next game. The result may well determine whether or not he's still here next October.

It's all up to you now, old six goals....

Lol, ^^^^ clueless Habs fan... If you really think this next game has any impact on Price being here next season, Then you have a really bad perception of this team.

As for your "it's all up to you".... It's this type of mentality that creates goalie fiascos in this town. There are 23 players on the team, and if 15 of them aren't pulling in the right direction you're gonna lose 99.99% of the time and blaming the goalie is the easy/dumb way to go.

It doesn't matter how hard the rest of the team plays if the goalie gives up bad goals. I have not seen the Habs take 50 shots in more than 6 playoff games since 1956. They had 50 in game 1, and if they had someone who played an average game in their net, then they would have won.
It is mentally tough for a team to play in front of a shakey goalie. We work hard for 10 minutes to score on a great play, and then we give up 2 goals on stoppable shots.

This is not a hate thread towards the individuals ignorant enough to think it's over, but rather it's a thread just asking you that if you think it's over to stay off the board. I don't know where else to post this, and if the mod's want to move it somewhere or lock it I don't care.

PS: We're gonna win
HA HA. I've been watching Habs for 40 years. This series is not over at all. In fact, it just began.

I know you don't want to hear this but I thought we were going to win in 7. I had total confidence this team could have gone to the SC finals if we got decent goaltending.

We haven't till now and I don't think we will the rest of this series.

Now I believe if MT keeps Price in nets we'll be gone in 6.

You have to look at actual scoring changes, not shots to gauge how the game went.

OK that's acceptable to us at the moment. Not a great place to start debates though dude, we not too happy. Better to leave off right now.

This is the series Price has needed. This is the series he takes the next step. Brutal for him right now. This is the series he needed.

I've been watching for over 40 years and will say this.

It's never over til it's over.

But when you've just demonstrated that scoring is a chore, you're getting beat in the alley as well as the scoreboard, and your goaltender is a liability, it's over.

It's one loss. Get over it and move on. We're only down one game. Vancouver fans are the only fans right now that have a right to say it's over.
