With the 61st pick in the 2013 draft, the Phoenix Coyotes are proud to select, from the Tri-City Americans of the WHL, goalie Eric Comrie

We believe we may have just stolen a quality goalie. Often compared to Carey Price, Comrie was touted as a legit 1st round candidate and a clear rival to Zach Fucale until a hip injury ended his season in mid-January. When you look at our goalie prospects, Mark Visentin had a bad year in the AHL and constantly loses big games, then it's guys who are more or less longshots like Domingue and Lee. We think Comrie will be our goalie of the future.

Next GM PM'd.

Comrie is a really good goalie prospect. In the conversation with my Hayden pick. Ultimately I turned away because hip surgery at a young age for a goaltender could be a death kiss.

If the bruins hadn't traded away their pick in 2nd round he would have been mine

With the 63rd pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, the Nashville Predators are proud to select Nick Baptiste, from the Sudbury Wolves.

"Baptiste adds speed and a solid frame to our prospect depth up front. We like his upside and believe he will really add to his status with a great season in Sudbury next year."

While we're at it, here is my write up on the selection of Barkov at 4th overall :

"We are ecstatic to be adding a big center of the calibre of Barkov to our team. He has been playing pro since age 16 and we believe he is the most NHL-ready player in this draft. His hockey sense is uncanny, and he projects as an all-around first line center in the NHL."

Next GM has been PMed.

Damn, was hoping Baptiste would fall to my pick.

Still some solid players available.

Same here. Come on guys...some compassion here for a guy who didn't have a pick in the first 2 rounds...

I had baptise and hurley as 1 and 2 on my list.

So I reshuffled the deck and I'm proud to select from Skelleftea : Lucas Wallmark.

Write-up will follow when i'm not on my cellphone.

Next GM has been PMed

Edit on Lucas Wallmark:

Young swedish player that dominated on every level he has played thus far. He grew from 5'9 tu 6'0 during the year and he is still one of the youngest player in the draft so there might be still room for him to grow even more. He is a very versatile player that can play any role asked. Very good on face-off, very good offensive skillset. He is more of a longterm project but at this point in the draft he is definately worth the risk IMO.

Wait... Shouldn't these last few picks (61 - 63 on this page) be #'s 62 - 64? LOL the numbers were fooling me up as I'm keeping track of who has been picked. Tambellini was pick #61.

Ya, that's why Eric Comrie should be pick #62 not #61 in the post. And all the one's after increased by one.

EDIT: Nevermind, Habsfan18 got it listed correctly in the OP.

With the 66th pick in the 2013 NHL draft, the Carolina Hurricanes are proud to select, from Minnentoka High School, Tom Vannelli. We love his size and skating and the way he moves the puck, we see him as a future catlalyst of our transition game and we had him much higher, real happy he made it to our pick.

At 67th overall, the Flames go back to the Q again and select from the PEI Rocket, LW Yan-Pavel Laplante

GM says: "He missed most of his draft year with injury so maybe a lot of scouts didn't see enough of him, but we saw a dynamic, skilled player who can play anywhere in the lineup and in any situation. Coaches love these types of hard-working players who go flat out every shift and we predict he will be a fan favorite in Calgary."
