Washington Capitals at New York Rangers-7:30 P.M.

Since there is no GDT at the moment, I'll just leave this here for now.

Win or get the golf clubs ready. Hopefully they feed off the home ice advantage and the anemic offense decides to wake up.

Hopefully it's not just a win but a relatively convincing win. Doesn't have to be a blowout, but not something that looks like last game minus Nash hitting the post. We need momentum for game 4 also.

Loffen is MVP of the Rangers board. No1curr about anyone else's GDT's.

For the love of God, please win. Show some effort for a home game.

Loffen can go 0-1000 for all I care. His GDTs are the best and he works hard in a time zone that's not exactly friendly to NHL game times. No one was *****ing last post-season. I'm not sure why this is even an issue for you. You should probably focus on your lucky socks and pre-game rituals.

Need a Clowe or Dorsett fight for a spark like Prust on Neil last year. Asham just isn't cutting it.

I hope Torts goes with these lines:

Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
Boyle-Richards-Zuccarello
Dorsett-Brassard-Callahan
Pyatt-Powe-Asham

McD-Girardi
Moore-Strålman
MDZ-Eminger

We have WAY to many RWs vs LWs btw.

that man does not deserve 2nd line minutes. and he's our best faceoff guy. no way.

no. it's frustrating to expect them to come out flying and then nothing. very frustrating.

No Clowe? If he's ready to go, I want him in. Guy is a warrior and will actually go to the front of the net.

I keep trying to make line combos I like, but can never settle on them.

Solve that by moving Zuccarello to LW. Boyle should be 4C or 3LW.

Hagelin - Stepan - Nash
Zuccarello - Richards - Callahan
Boyle - Brassard - Dorsett
Pyatt - Powe - Asham

If Clowe is good to go:
Top six stays
Clowe - Brassard - Dorsett
Powe - Boyle - Asham

Considering that Boyle has been pretty much our 2nd best forward, I wanted to bring him up into the top 6. Especially since he adds size to an otherwise diminutive line. But I guess your lines may make a bit more sense.

But when Clowe returns I'd like to see:

Hags-Step-Nash
Clowe/Boyle-Richards-Zucc
Clowe/Boyle-Brass-Cally
Pyatt-Powe-Dorsett

There's nothing more frustrating to me than the Rangers making mid-tier goalies look like gods by not testing them at all. Especially on power plays that generate 0 shots with the game on the line.
