Why Bouillon? The guy has been great for us, just a bit overused buy MT.

Yeah, I've never seen a group of people get so excited about their team getting beat trying to play to another team's strengths.

hey look we had our heads handed to us, but it shows we care.
hey, it's part of the learning process . Let's do it again and learn some more.

This team is a complete mixed bag talent wise, but one thing for sure it's only reasonable gameplan is to stay disciplined and use team speed to win chases to pucks . And get great goaltending.

The team has abandoned it's gameplan and their goalie is MIA. There's nothing to learn from this other than that.

Either follow the gameplan or change the player mix to support a different one next year. Don't go out and try to get all tough with players that are only too happy to see you come unhinged that way. Ottawa will play that all series if you want to try it.

Agreed. I'd also consider moving Diaz and I probably wouldn't bring Halpern back.

Same. It was basically the same thing ference did, and Bourque has a history of being an idiot with that elbow.

I find this series disgusting on every level. I'm not entertained, I'm not enjoying it. Total lack of respect by everybody on both teams, players and coaches.

Our best players are injured, it's over. Prust can't do **** because of his injuries, and Subban, Bourque and Gallagher can't do it all on their own. White is intense but he is not gonna win us the series. Not expecting a miracle here. had to say it.

I thought Bourque deserved a game. I don't like to see elbows to the head... He's lucky he got off. It's very good for us.

Hopefully after last night. The team can start playing hockey again.
Yesterday they stopped playing how they played all season. The tried to play a system that didn't fit us.
We need to go back to lots of shots and lots of speed!
Go Habs Go!

I agree, he deserved it. But at the same time, with all those injuries i'm happy he got nothing. It might be selfish but I don't care.

Very happy that Bourque isn't suspended.

He's our best forward right now, with Gallagher.

And it all started with that ****ing POS Gryba on Eller. Right there, I thought to myself "**** these playoff series". Anyways I've got much on my mind about the Habs, but I'll refrain from saying ****.

I don't think so. Maybe wishful thinking but unless a blowout (either way but esp if we're losing) I think the boys will stay focused on the task at hand, which is not getting in a really deep hole. I hope so anyway

I think it'd be great if Eller came in the lockerroom before the game and tell his teammates to chill out, play hockey and not to retaliate. That's not how they're gonna win.

Honestly, I think Eller would want his team to win games instead of someone trying to beat up Gryba.

Esp since with Prust hurt, we have nobody who could tune him up anyway.

Yep. Therrien needs to settle himself and everyone else down, address any internal strife if it exists, and take walking dead injured players off the lineup. Then reinforce the gameplan of speed-speed-speed-discipline-discipline-discipline.

I'd require everyone on the team to meet at a designated park for "yoga", where Bob Gainey would be waiting to take them all for a walk.

Thing is Ottawa knows and won't want to simply play hockey. They'll goon it up and it's going to keep working in their favor. It's not going to be easy for us the rest of this series just like I predicted it, but the only thing I can tell you is we better start taking the leads in games or we're toast having to come from behind playing mostly their style

Coaches that are on the right end of a score should wind the game down, because as they all know someday they'll be on the wrong end of the score.

Antagonizing plays are for sore losers. The other stupid move is putting a number one PP unit out when the game is out of hand.

Therrien isn't whining, but the best way to get even is to win the series.

Edit: Better to accept that Mclean is a d-bag and move on. Even his response of "what, is that another disrespect thing" makes him look stupid. He will have his day and I hope a coach grinds it into him for a good lesson.

He's a frustrated coach no dought. In the same breath, I can't blame him. Looking how soft we played along the boards made me crindge. Also, all the disipline went to crap last night.
We are too small upfront and definetly on the backend. It's nice to have PMD but a punishing D would be welcome. Yea Tinordi is just getting his first taste playing on his off side.
