Loving the meltdown by a certain fan base right now.

they have a good team that needs to tweak a few things and get rid of some passengers. According to several sources prior to the lock out, they had some good offers for a certain goalie, but their GM was looking for a home run trade and he may have waited too long and with the cap going down they may not get as much as they were offered prior to the lockout.

A few tweaks? They're done.

I love what Paul Maclean did yesterday. If Therrien is pissed off then maybe he should tell his players not to start fighting guys who are still trying to make a hockey play that doesn't include throwing fists.

Having one good line is easy to shut down in the playoffs.

As long as we have all four of Hall/Eberle/RNH/Yakupov, we will be able to ice two scoring lines (play Hall with Yakupov, Krueger). You build around them, *not* at the expense of one of them.
Theres no way I want Kreuger lacing them up in our topsix. He'd look worse than Smyth.

Which is why I agree with Spector when he says Stl/LA is boring.
You think they would be at each others throats, but are too busy trapping

Did he just find out they cancelled Arrested Development? Or maybe that it was brought back?

He realized he will never get that close to the cup again.

Wonder how much of an effect the Canucks throwing their last game of the season against us has had on their playoff performance.

You know what would make this meltdown/debacle the best? Bring it to it's Zenith?

Luongo starts game 4 and/or gets pulled.

Makes me wonder, if that were to happen, if Gillis would be fired before 7uongo got to the bench?

That last regular season game had nothing to do with it. The Canucks have been running on "elite" team fumes for a long time now. They have, what? 2 wins over their last 11 playoff games? That's horrid and they're long overdue for a tear down.

I wonder why their secret weapon isn't carrying them to the chosen land?
I thought he was the missing piece to getting their rat names on the cup?

I think it would be funniest if Luongo won the next game in San Jose...

Then let in 4 in Vancity, followed by Schneider letting in 3.

That would cause hell.

So many scenarios could play out. I'd like to see Schneider get lit up and then Lou refuse to go in, just kinda get up and go to the locker room.

And then Schneider pulls a Roy (not Derek) at the end of the game, refusing to play another game in Vancouver silks... gets traded to Edmonton for two second rounders and Bunz.....

He found out that he is a boat anchor contract on a capped out team sliding into obscurity.

Lol, too funny.

Gotta say it though I could see a lot of Canucks not wanting to go back to Vancouver for game 5 period. Just wrap up getting sweeped in game 4 and then avoid the navel gazing somewhat.

The funny thing in this is if they start Luongo and he decides to screw the Nucks org over a little.

Can't blame him either. He's been in a far worse than Patrick Roy situation and has been for nearly a year.

The money is good though..

This Nucks team doesn't need coaches it needs therapy.

I told a friend after the Oilers beat them and AV hug Luongo out to dry, that I hope he plays lights out if he got to start the series and they still lose. I can't think of a better scenario than what has played out.

Luongo is too good for the Nucks. It blows my mind how poorly they've treated the guy and how badly they've mismanaged him. I hope they buy him out, I'd love to sign him TBH.

I don't trust our management to treat him any better.
At least he wouldn't have any competition for starter. (Sorry dubs)

Bieksa calls out Thornton and Couture for diving and embellishing calls.

Kevin Bieksa completely throwing Thornton & Couture under the bus, accusing embellishment. "This is about integrity" #sjsharks #canucks

Mark Spector ‏@SportsnetSpec 2m
VAN's Bieksa calls out Couture and Thornton for embellishing calls. "It's a lack of integrity." Yep, we're not kidding. More to come.
